  1. Past hour
  2. So the daft old cunt wants to pay less than we did to Brighton. Let the fucker rot in his shed and hopefully there will be a leak with any correspondence there is from his burner phone. As for the Man Utd fans, fuck you, you arrogant bunch of cunts.
  3. I wonder what Chelsea would offer for a Rooney if such a player was emerging in today’s market. 250?
  4. Today
  5. I just don't understand how you send £100 million plus on a player that is performing at this level. What were they seeing in the guy to justify that kind of outlay?! My God ... They are young though, like you say, so let's see. Maybe things change. But watching Enzo I'm not sure he has the legs, physicality or the engine to keep up in midfield in the Prem. He is so invisible in there.
  6. The prices paid for the players are why everyone were, and still are, overrating Chelsea. There's this perception that they have a bunch of premium players just because they chose to pay way too much for each of them. Their players are just not very good, and most of them were just overhyped. The price tag doesn't change how good a players is. If someone somehow chose to pay £100m for Almiron, he would still be Almiron. They do have a young squad though, that's the only reason why I don't want to write them off for next season. They are hard to predict.
  7. Thought I’d take a look at RedCafe. Entitlement is off the charts.
  8. As an apropos to nothing, here’s the teams currently on course to be in the ECL (and no, I can’t be arsed to find out why there’s six pots)
  9. The more quotes I see from Ratcliffe, the more I think he's the perfect guy for Man Utd. The more he talks the more stupid he makes himself and his club look.
  10. The thinking that we should just accept what we paid Brighton is absurd Would be like us trying to tell West Ham they should sell Bowen to us for £22m cos that's what they paid Hull
  11. Jackson has good movement and is quick but his finishing is terrible and his decision making is poor too, trying to go for near post when an easy pass was on was criminal Usually strikers that become a bit of a joke figure due to their finishing struggle to turn things around so will be interesting to see if he can do that
  12. Ashworth had barely got his feet under the table here and was supposed to be a big part of things, and Ratcliffe thinks they should be paying similar to what we paid Brighton?! The high compensation serves two purposes. To penalize Man Utd for disrupting things for us, and to make things difficult for Ashworth so he can't just go swanning off to Man Utd so easily, the cheeky git. I actually thought Man Utd might be on their way to getting their house in order with this Ratcliffe coming in initially, but this guy isn't a sharp guy. I think he's going to be a dunce and they'll soon turn on him.
  13. Imagine what could have been
  14. The fuck is that Heerenveen crest man
  15. Yeah, I don't feel good about it but I'm there too. I'll feel a bit more up for it if Villa don't win it. I really like the competition but it being won by Premier League FC every year eradicates a lot of the prestige imo. That being said, if it transpires that we feature in it, I would look forward to it and embrace the experience, and enjoy seeing us face opponents we've never faced. But when it comes to preference, it's the Europa League all day. I'd rather be in it than even the Champions League.
  16. Does the man not realise who are owners are? No chance they will let Dan go if it's not on their terms.
  17. How Todd is still in charge of the club is beyond me. One Billion spent - insane amount of money.
  18. Winners of the Europa League qualify for group stage as a pot one I believe. Unless it has changed with the new format
  19. I’d be delighted with any European competition. Europa is great but we’ll probably not win it. Conference is less exciting from a sporting perspective but great away trips and a realistic chance of winning. the first trophy is the hardest. We just need to win it.
  20. Jackson and Palmer = Heskey and Owen
  21. I'd really hope that if we eventually broke our trophy drought it was a bit more romantic than the Paint Cup of Europe.
  22. Jackson is typically involved in a lot of Chelsea's best play, and never coasts through games, he is always everywhere. He cannot under any circumstances be relied upon for goals at this stage of his development though. He is too erratic in those moments. He causes a lot of problems though, and in a team with more clinical players would be even more valuable. It's just Palmer that does anything in the team though.
