Steve Bruce confirms midfielder Ki was fit but was not among subs because he needed four defenders on the bench as cover for Dummett (who had a knock) & Lascelles (who wasn't feeling well). It left NUFC short in midfield after Shelvey injury & Longstaff withdrawal.
