  1. Heres the link on toontastic http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?showtopic=26197
  2. You take care of the little things, the big things take care of themselves. I think if we put Hughton in a suit, instantly he'd be more commanding and authoritative. What a bunch of American business training clap trap Anyway isn't he head coach now not manager since he doesn't have full control of transfers or the day to day running of the club

  4. I really, truly and honestly from the bottom of my heart, don't care
  5. Reading the current article on nufc.com, maybe there right the best way to get rid is hands in pockets time with NUST.
  6. if no one takes up his offer it will stay as sportsdirect.com@ and we wont get a penny But when new ownership comes in that will be thrown out straight away. Maybe new owners would keep a brand that is bringing in money however small the amount. I'm probably wrong on that, and it would be changed regardless, but you never know. Also, in a weird way, having it sports direct until hes gone feels more 'unofficial' as oppose to a brand name that orignally had no connection with the club (in as much as sports direct is just symbolic of who the owner is). They would unless a contract had been signed to say the board had to be there for so many years.
  7. Royal Mint honour Sir Bobby. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8345746.stm
  8. 100% correct Just like the last few times we've said the same thing.
  9. Got to love how when people can't come up with an argument they bring spelling and grammar into the argument. Always makes me laugh. Who asked you, like?
  10. Stay standing for the first 20minutes (like the save our seats campaign) Protests outside the Milburn reception before the game from 1pm & after the game till 6pm. I can sort of understand people saying "dont have negativity/anomosity in the air before the game, it cant help the atmosphere in the ground", if thats the case, just make sure your there after the game. Yeah but none of that has been advertised anywhere so nothing will happen.
  11. How can you force a privately owned business to give away 25% of their business for nothing. Whilst it would be nice, at the same time it's crazy and won't happen ever.
  12. Only one I've heard mentioned was stopping behind after but that was only by the Ultras and I've not a seen a mention of anything else so I wouldn't expect much other than the odd song about fat cockney bastards leaving the club.

I'm actually quite positive about our finances if we go up. Wage bill will be around 35M which is respectable. Yes but the squad costing us around £35 million is nowhere near good enough for the Premiership. Nobody is arguing that. Its a lot better base than £70m wagebill for players who arent good enough though isnt it? Yep, tbh if we got taken over this summer it would be a great time if we go up. Bring in a decent manager, give him money to spend without oversterching again..... I live in a fantasy world though We'd be running at £20m in profit if we get promoted would we not ? So if he funds us to the some of £20m as he has been we should have a budget for transfers and extra wages of £40m.

Which would explain the £20m he put in as we saved £25m from wages and made £27m off transfers so that's £52m leaving us £18m needing funded and £2m for transfers. Shame he got us in to so much problems with bad contracts under Fat Sam and giving out stupid contracts to other players and not sacking Barton, he probably could have had the club breaking even by now.

FFS they knew ALL this would happen and could have been avoided in january by spending a little bit to see us through and away from relegation, THUS saving porkpie money. THEY DIDN'T LISTEN TO ANYONE! Its their f***ing fault the club is where it f***ing is!!!! f*** ME!!! Does no one ever question these twats!!!!!  And are they suggesting they havn't cut the wage bill from £70m to to below £50m now because I'm sure they have and other than that the outgoings have been zero despite us having transfer fees coming in. It still makes no sense.
  17. Nufc.com suggest we could be losing them as the creators of our shirts and that's why.
  18. Just noticed the Bobby Robson foundation total is currently at £2m. That's an amazing amount for a great man http://www.justgiving.com/thesirbobbyrobsonfoundation
  19. They have, they offered what they thought was a fair price £60m upfront and £20m at the end of the season. Seems fair enough to me. And then what? They didnt have the cast to keep us running til the end of the year so how would they cover any costs til then? Sell our better players? What happens in the summer when that £20m is to be paid wiping out any new shirt deals, sponsorships etc? Who is to buy the new players then? What if they chose to rebrand SJP? What if we dont go up, how could they afford to keep us running in this league? So many questions with very few answers suggests it was hardly a fair offer in truth. So if someone offered £80m then those questions would be answered ? I don't see your logic ?
  20. That wasn't the whole reason why he wanted a transfer though. Well the only thing i have to go off is Keegan saying thats his reason. If you know otherwise then good on you. "I enjoyed every minute at Newcastle and working with the manager," said Milner. "But the way things were going, I knew offers had come in over the summer and the club had turned them down. Their valuation of me wasn't reflected in the deal I was on. Speaking to Newcastle I thought it was the right thing to do to put in a transfer request to show how I felt, seeing they weren't on the same wavelength as me. They then made the decision to sell me." Seems fair enough to me. The club had taken almost a year to get the contract finalist that's why it had only been a year since he had signed the contact. He had played 2 years of first team football since he had agreed the contact. Seems fair enough to expect a new deal for a now first teamer, most clubs improve players contacts when they break into the first team. That therefore was Ashleys fault.
  21. Who are you like, Llambias

  23. Nice thoughts but far to much to ever happen. I can't see NUST raising anywhere near enough money to get a share in a club and it should be forced upon a new owner. If they want a share they have to pay simple as. if NUST believe the pledges really are worth £20m can someone please tell me why they havn't got in touch with Moat who apparently already has £60m available now and said here's £20m we want 25% and you can now afford the club ? Simply because pledges are worth nothing.
