Already been debunked on this page ffs.
  2. Nope, but we've had one given against us that wasn't a penalty (West Ham) at least. That was a pen like. Its understandable it was given but if contact starts outside the box then by the laws of the game it's a free kick. Anyway its more about the fact that these marginal calls tend to go against us, whereas some of our rivals are getting iffy calls in their favour. No that's wrong. It's where the foul/contact ends where the foul is committed. Fair enough, I always assumed it was the other way round. Do you know if this is written down anywhere? Cant find much at all. I've just had a quick look at the laws and I am now more confused as the only reference to giving a penalty when a foul continues into the box is specifically in relation to holding: "If a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee must award a penalty kick."
  3. Something quite funny about Wenger being furious and claiming the referee didn't see the handball so his decision was a guess.
  4. Cech is furious but speaking well.

Anyway its more about the fact that these marginal calls tend to go against us, whereas some of our rivals are getting iffy calls in their favour. The contact carried on into the box. As far as I was aware that means penalty. May be wrong like, not swallowed the rules for a while. Yeah same here tbh but it does seem like forever since we were given the benefit of doubt in a major call. Absolutely. It's not just this season either if you look at what Brighton got last year compared to us.

  8. If you think the performance by us and the performance by Palace today was comparable then there is no point in even debating with you. Care to point in the direction of where I've said that? I said the outcome in terms of statistical analysis was comparable. Palace have a better side for us pretty much player for player and as such are far more capable of playing in a different way to we did first 30 minutes, yet at the end of the date the stats of both games turn out very similar. Take your blinkers off. How is a team having 7 more shots on goal as you want to include blocked shots, hitting the post three times, two good saves, scoring a goal and missing at least 2 more excellent chances and another 3 or 4 you would expect normally for them to hit the target comparable. City created virtually nothing today. Palace were by far more of a threat today also. That pretty much better player by player are still below us in the league so they can’t be that good. Can you even read? I made a comment on the statistical outcomes being similar. Nothing more. So having 7 more shots is comparable I don’t think so it’s not one or 2 it’s 7 that is not comparable. If you look at all the stats of the match, the general trend of the game is very much comparable but we shall leave it there. How the fuck is that a penalty?

Highly doubt it. If this happens.... It would be nice if they could acquire the land at Gallowgate off Ashley before he develops it, even without expanding the Gallowgate that piece of land is crying out to be used by the club to develop a real gateway from the City into the club, a club hotel, some facilities etc.

  11. I don't blame him, or anyone, that doesn't go anymore. Since I've moved away and now have a 4 hour drive to home games I really do consider jacking it in after each home game we don't win. If I could keep my loyalty points and access to away tickets I would tbh.

  13. Palace have far better players than we do, and while they got a point, the match stats are certainly similar and comparable. Which you seem unable to understand. They had a few more shots, but that's about it.
  14. Exactly the point I was trying to make a page or two back. Palace will be praised by the media I'm assuming, whereas we were absolutely slated. - City had 74% possession against Palace in comparison to 78% against us - We had one more shot on target than Palace, whereas they had one more shot off target - We had 228 passes in comparison to Palace's 208 You conveniently missed one stat though the number of shots city had on our goal compared to Palace if you’re going to try and make a comparison then do it properly Two more shots on target and 6 off target with a better team Not going by the sky stats mind city v palace 15 shots 4 on target 4 off 7 blocked compared to 22 shots 6 on 12 off and 4 blocked versus us. Bit different from yours. I wasn't looking at Sky stats. Well maybe you should have then I used Flash Scores and they're the same, so that doesn't make your argument any more credible. Their obviously not the same and yeah it does 18 shots on goal against 8 is a pretty big difference. But never mind you stick to Flash. https://www.flashscores.co.uk/match/Y3iI5c4U/#match-statistics;0 http://www.skysports.com/football/newcastle-vs-man-city/stats/373293 Possession (%) = 22/78 Total shots = 6/21 (22 shots for City on Sky Sports) Shots on target = 2/6 Shots off target = 3/12 Shots blocked = 1/3 (1/4 on Sky Sports because of the 22 shots stat) Shots saved = 5/2 (5/1 on Sky Sports) So yeah, the base for your argument is 1 shot. No the base of my argument is that city had 10 more shots on goal against us than palace and one you conveniently forgot to mention when you posted your original stats. Where the hell are you getting 10 more shots from? Do you even math bro? City had 15 shots against Palace, and 21-22 (depending on where you look) against us. They had 6 on target against us and 4 on target against Palace Do you even math bro - is that English is it? No you want to do the maths. let’s make it nice and simple for you city had 4 shots on and 4 shots off against palace 4+4=8 city then had 6 shots on and 12 shots off against Newcastle 6+12=18. If you then take the 18’away from the 8 you get 10. I put the blocked shots separate. At the end of the day you tried to be clever dick saying that Palace performance was no better than ours using stats but conveniently then not putting the fact that city had 10 less shots at goal today than they did on Wednesday. You've lost it.
  15. The whinging around me in the East Stand was at a new level yesterday.

They had 7 more against us, not that many really in the grand scheme of things given we let them have the ball in front us and they took lots of shots from 25+ yards against us in the first half. Other than that the match stats are very similar.

  18. Indifferent, only 4 wins. Certainly not brilliant, but comfortable mid table record.
  19. Yet Woy would do a better job than Rafa with our squad apparently. Their record since he came in is comfortably mid table mind.
  20. He had a decent game but world class is pushing it. I would expect most 'keepers this level to save both. The deflected one from Hayden was travelling painfully slowly so he had the time to get to it and the one from Gayle was relatively regulation but did look good. Both good saves. He's miles ahead of what we've got mind and seems to have recovered from his early season howlers.
  21. Might be because they have a considerably better team than we do.
