The only game we played away at Sunderland when Mort was with the club was a 1-1 draw.

There is no rule on this so to speak but the convention is whoever gets the hat-trick first, irrespective of being on winning or losing team, gets the match ball.

Freshfields still work for Sports Direct so you would think, given how much control Ashley has of Sports Direct, that they sorted out their disagreement.

It will depend on what else he's working on and if he's already working for someone else on another deal under an exclusivity agreement. Unlikely I would guess so probably involved. The firm working for Ashley advised Sir John Hall on his sale to Ashley. Surely use of these two particular firms shows just how serious both parties are about making a deal. Agreed.

He is according to legalweek.com - very reputable legal news site. Not sure if it show's up or not so copy and pasting link contents here: This was on legalweek.com this morning - http://www.legalweek.com/sites/legalweek/2017/11/21/freshfields-and-dentons-up-front-on-takeover-bid-for-newcastle-united-fc/

She is using Freshfields where he works, we don't know specifically who is in their team working on this but given his previous involvement and thus knowledge of the club you would presume so but it will depend on what else he's working on.

Looked him up, on loan in League 2 and not getting a game. Maksymilian Stryjek.

Mackem at work recons they have a 'keeper that's better than both of them out on loan but couldn't remember his name.

Interested to see what Odin thinks of this I think another month will go by before we have any real update on the situation. Also even if it does go through in late December / early January, it shouldn’t effect the transfer window. Remember when City were taken over.. they wrote some sort of promissory note so that they could sign Robinho. Even if the takeover isn’t completed, if a buyer is serious they should be able to do this so that we can invest to stay up. You've changed your tune.

It is not analogous to buying a house in any way ffs.
-
Worried that the roof might fall off.
-
It's nothing like buying house. If you need a new roof your income doesn't suddenly get cut significantly. They know what they are buying. You cant start negotiating a new boiler 6 months after a purchase, or saying i can only buy this property on the grounds that boiler stays in tip top shape for the remainder of the year. Wtf you have me comparing us to a boiler now to make a point. Point is a relegation clause for a club isnt going to work or happen imo. It's still nothing like buying a house. Yes it would be ridiculous to have a clause in there that PCP can get their money back if the roof falls off the Gallowgate End. This is a bit different. Unlikely but I can understand why they would be pushing for it, even as a negotiating tool they are willing to give way on.

Most interesting thing in that article is that Freshfields are acting for PCP - they acted for Ashley when he bought the club and Chris Mort is still a partner there.
-
Jim White is saying £300m bid - isn't he a Bishop client and in Ashley's back pocket?
-
What was said? That he's so small he'll need to use a toy parachute and is so small he probably falls off the pavement.
-
He's on one right now, we'll probably break it with a draw somewhere may not be this game though, Watford are clearly very good, with a manager who knows what he is doing. We need a win though, simple as that. They have four more points than we do, you are going on like they're Man City. They're not. They're a decent mid table side, with a decent record but they are a team at a level we should be beating at St. James' Park if we want to stay in the division.

You only get 5 free votes? I'm not giving these tossers a penny. That's my 5 votes cast for Dennis Wise.
