  1. So no one knows what's going on, including you, but you know that the press especially know nothing. Their job is to direct as much traffic to their site as possible. Not to bring us credible information. So to answer your question/statement, yes. That isn't how proper journalism works. Proper journalists?! Who would that be?
  2. You aren't worth the effort of explaining if your starting position of understanding is so low.
  3. He had the hump because the ref (rightly imo) gave a foul against him on King i think shortly before his booking, he was still annoyed. It's daft because it was a foul. Never understand footballers going mental when they clearly foul someone and think they haven't. He was annoyed because the ref didn't give a foul after he went to ground very easily and the ref gave a corner. Ref was correct.

  5. Thought that's what I heard but wasn't quite sure.
  6. By one that isn't English and over-hyped.
  7. He doesn't like kicking a stationary ball, finds it quite difficult and so is taking his time to try and ensure he doesn't fuck it up. I used to do this playing in net for NOFC! You do not expect this from a 'keeper in the Premier League! When he gets a back pass from a defender he very rarely takes a touch and controls it before looking for a good pass, he likes to smack it up the field first touch. Again, because he isn't confident in kicking a stationary ball. In the Premier League. Good hands, good reflex. Rest of his game League 1 standard.
  8. No we wouldn't. Well we would have probably been at least 1-0 up early in the first half - would certainly have been a different game.

    Chancel Mbemba

    He's not injured anymore.
  10. It's not as simple as he had 90 minutes to score and didn't so he didn't do much. Football doesn't work like that.
  11. That's nonsense like, your criticism is with Gayle, not the officials. To me, if the officials decide a goal is offside, I move on and so should the player involved. Gayle had 90 minutes to score a goal deemed legitimate, and he didn't, regardless of whether you view his goal on or offside. Therefore my original post of 'didn't do much' is perfectly valid. Because he didn't do much, did he?
  12. That's not the way the world works It's the way football works, though Jesus Christ you are thick. How so, Greg? I was a bit harsh. You don't seem to understand how football works.

  14. Header from a Ritchie cross at the back post, was going wide but hit the defender and went for a corner.
  15. Was never injured. Meanwhile, defender Chancel Mbemba suffered a hamstring injury playing for DR Congo during the international break. "Chancel is not too bad," said Moreno. "Reading the newspaper, it seems like it was a bad injury. "Today we don’t think so. The assessment is quite good. "He'll definitely miss the game, but hopefully not too bad. Hopefully, he'll be ready for the next one (against Stoke City on September 16)."
  16. We could have been 3 -0 up after 20 minutes, we started really well. Second half was then an abomination.
  17. We started really well but we need to take our chances when on top. Second half was shocking.

    Rafa Benítez

    Two were because of injures.
  19. Let's not forget we should have been 2 or 3 up after 20 minutes.
  20. Leaving an injured Atsu on for the last 10 minutes really not a good idea tbh.
