Just checked the highlights. Started the first half on the right, started the second half on the left. Was shit on both.
  2. The only embarrassing ones are those, like yourself, that can't abide that someone might hear some snippets from someone but, of course, is unwilling to divulge their source. Jealousy most likely.

    Vurnon Anita

In my defence I was pissed as fart drinking in London all afternoon, Anita certainly played on the left for a very long period of that game. Either way, he was in the midfield.

Had a shot on his left about 10 yards out and put it straight at the keeper from an Anita cross / pass from the left flank.

Start of the 2nd half vs Huddersfield? Second half against Fulham.

In fact one of our best chances was an Anita cross form the left to Ritchie who should have scored.

Not for very long, Anita played most of the game on the left until Aarons came on.

And he played on the left at Fulham.

Which is part of the midfield.
  10. If I had to guess I would say Bingo's man is probably Steve Storey.

I've been to a young child's funeral (a friend's son). I certainly wouldn't have been there if I hadn't know them. It was very tough (but nothing compared to how it was for the parents). I wonder why anyone would go to the funeral of a child they didn't know. It's not really the same is it? Nobody would just turn up to a random child's funeral that they knew nothing about. In this instance his story has been all over the media and has touched many and the family have said it's an open invite and will be broadcasting it outside the venue. Not something I'd do but can understand why people will and it isn't comparable to a normal situation.
  12. Holding up the move to Sevilla according to earlier report.
  13. You can be a Geordie and support Sunderland you know. I know a fair few.
  14. Someone from Felling isn't a Geordie? Trying telling that to most of Felling!

    Alan Shearer

With Ronaldo on this one, in my four years living in Manchester I didn't meet a single one that was arsed about it. A source of amusement and a bit of fun for a wind up (hence the Shearer song every time we play them).
  16. Doubt it. If they do one of those, which they might for the anniversary, surely it will copy a historic kit from the early days.
  17. As long as third kit is something different... Had a black away kit in 2000/01 and 2003/04 and third kit in 2011/12.
  18. Aarons has played 22 games of professional football in his career at age 21, clearly the lad has some talent. If we can we should be looking to see him get a full season of first team football on loan in Championship.
  19. I watched it in Sao Paulo as we were going to the second semi final the next day (Netherlands v Argentina) and so the bar was a mix of locals, Argentinians and a few Dutch. The Argentinians were of course loving it, great little atmosphere. Everyone thought it might kick off out on the streets but it was deadly quiet, locals all in shock.
  20. Where's this lad going to end up?
  21. Sorry but he's s****. Not even an upgrade on a knackered Krul. Can't catch anything, barely makes a save, preening gobshite, England baggage, rubbish for coming on four years at least. Would genuinely rather start Elliot. I understand some have reservations about Hart, but this is just nonsense. He's clearly the type that needs to be wanted, settled and adored and I think he could do that here and regain his form.
  22. People turning their nose up at Navas and Hart. Yes it would be great to be aiming even higher but we have just promoted and need to be strengthened in pretty much every area, these two would improve us in areas where we need improvement. Both are absolute no-brainers if we can bring them on sensible money.
  23. Yes, if temperatures reach above 32 degrees C then the referee can call them at 30 mins and 75 mins. There was a few during the 2014 World Cup.
