Another one - Our most overrated player of the last decade......
Greg replied to Liam Liam Liam O's topic in Football
When did he play for us? Must have missed it. Owen. -
We would have been in exactly the same place if he had stayed. Over-rated player imo. Better than anything we've got now.
-
Talking about Lovenkrands it was madness to give him a 3 year contract.
-
Not a lot, 1000s of people in posh seats get them and anyone can download and print one for free on .cock.
-
He's started one game since scoring - hardly time to judge him. Two.
-
Does my fucking head in!
-
How many starts has he even had though? Not every player is just good, he doesn't speak a word of English and is new here, I think it would be better to give him some time. Started at Barnsley and was poor and has been poor in every substitute appearance since that goal. He was s**** when he started at Coventry, missed a sitter as well.
-
He's fucking shit. Done nothing apart from his that goal against Watford and run around a lot.

Would you extend Harewood's loan until the end of the season?

This, he never looks like scoring with the ball at his feat, he hardly touches the ball on the deck in and around the box let alone look like he's going score. -
The fact that he can actually pass the ball gives him an advantage over Nolan in central midfield. Nolan couldn't pass the parcel at a party.
-
Are we expecting a low crowd? Just on the bus in and it is empty and it is usually rammed.
-
He has scored tbf. Don't think he has. I think Dave means that goal at Ashton Gate that wasn't given, that was Sears. Ahhh.

Don't like him but he is clearly better than anything we've got in central midfield.

Ranger has came off the bench more but since Lovenkrands has been here and been fit enough to play he's started more games than Ranger, granted the odd one on the left wing for some bizarre reason but he's not clearly behind Ranger in the pecking order. -

He's not. -
He goes to Salford Uni and plays for Colwyn Bay.

Make it so they are not allowed to be hit into the box and have to be taken by the player closest when it went out of play and it could possibly work.

don't even think he s*** himself, if so he'd have punched it. just allowed the movement to make him misjudge it. Maybe but he looks tentative, if he's catching it there he has to jump higher. no. he has to make sure he doesn't lose concentration and keeps hold of the ball when it drops into his hands. Na, he needs to jump with his knees up and jump higher. he had the ball in his hands like he did numerous times today. that one he misjudged i reckon by being distracted by a player colse to him. jumping higher and putting his knee up would have made sod all difference The ball was never in his hands, if he jumps higher and with his knees up he not only takes the ball much higher well above their player but also puts the player off and thus catches the ball. As a keeper you have to catch the ball as high as possible, Harper did not do that. the ball was never in his hands ? what did it lift off to hit the bar ? if you catch the ball as high as possible aren't you then taking it over your head as opposed to the golden keepers rule of taking the ball into the body ? you pull it in once you've taken it in two hands but you have to take a cross as high as possible above the heads of the attackers, you have to catch crosses above your head or it is impossible to command your box, every cross would be headed in by a striker if you tried to take it in front of your eyes and pull it into your chest. the ball was just about in his hands but not under full control. my mistake, if he had been taking it higher up he might have been fine.

Well fuck this i'm going to listen to a play then go to bed.

Dangerous position to punch, if you misjudge it even a little it could land anywhere. Hes done the right thing. Pathetic. Id prefer a keeper to catch high lofted balls than punch those all day long. Thats just common sense for ya. But if he can't jump high enough to catch it due to the trajectory of the ball then he has to do something else. You are the one using this as the reason for him not jumping higher.
