    Juande Ramos

According to Spurs' OS, there are 13 British players in the first team squad. There would have been 14 earlier in the day but Gardner has now gone. According to Newcastle's OS, there are 9 British players in the first team squad. Add Guthrie to that, 10 in total. wtf is OS? for real ? use the peanut between yor shoulders ffs GeJon ate it

  10. no doubting his quality as a player. the fact that he's a little cunt who is full of himself may get in the way though. good luck with that
  11. no disrespect like, and I do not think you are bullshitting.... but any chance your mate can find out who said player is? or is it top secret stuff? nah there'd be no way, basically the reason he got the info is because he co runs a restauraunt and a booking for tonight went from 3 to 2, and the reason that was given is because one of the people that was supposed to be coming is the nufc club doctor and he's conducting the medical. we both agreed it seemed odd that the person would even give a reason, but there you go, just passing on info. wait a minute!!!! one of the club doctors you say DR. venkman?
  12. top post totally agree, tbf to taylor who has he had to play along with? bramble, boumsong, rozehnal, edgar, ramage even woodgate made o'brien and bramble look good next to him Ah back to the old it's not Taylor's fault he hasn't developed it's the people who have played with him, it's all down to them. Great logic. Not wrong there tooj, but the reality of it is that he has played alongside some dross. He's still very young, and given the correct coaching, and should he buck up his ideas, with a bit of luck he still has plenty of time to develop into a top class center half

  15. how so? Because successful teams have never had these fantasy players, and yet people on here think that signing Elano will have a dramatic effect. It won't. thought i'd covered myself by writing midfield (or playmaker) but apparently not i mean imagination james, personally i don't think it should be coming from a CM position as such but more from the beardsley role if you will...you can afford a more workman like midfield if you have it elsewhere (see the cantona point) but personally i feel we lack creativity...whether spiderman or guthrie can cover that time will tell personally i think it needed addressing, to date it hasn't been creative players i think is the term you're looking for. we need a play maker, yes. we definitely fucking do. whether that "play maker" is in the shape of a winger , deep-lying forward, or a more defensive midfielder, we still need to create chances from open play for our strikers to finish. imo we've only got 2 maybe 3 "play makers" in the side at the moment in Martins, Zoggy and hopefully Guti. we need a couple more who can unlock doors and make things happen
  16. how so? Because successful teams have never had these fantasy players, and yet people on here think that signing Elano will have a dramatic effect. It won't. only because Elano is overrated hark back to our most successful seasons in recent times, and think of the few play makers we had
  17. because he's already got a bundle of other youngsters who are just as good When Clichy was coming through after they sold Cole, he was using a central midfielder at left back to cover. Odd that he didn't go for Paul Konchesky really. do you mean lassana diarra?

  19. but it's not that simple is it? it's a no brainer that every club in the world wants the top players. it's how the club goes about putting itself in a position to be able to attract, and keep the top players, either in their prime, or by developing them from scratch. there's a million ways to measure ambition, but it's a vague term, and ambition means fuck all at the end of the day if you haven't been successful
  20. i don't see it that way. imo you can't compare Enrique with Warnock at the moment, and come out with a solid answer. before joining us, Enrique had a bit of experience playing for a top La Liga side. pre-Blackburn, Warnock had a bit of experience playing for a top PL side. Both players are about to start their 2nd full season as first team PL left backs. On stats, Warnock edges it as he's been recently called up to the England first team by a world renowned manager, and last season played more games for his side than Enrique played for us. Still, there's very little to choose between them. in that regard, mojorisin is right in that it would be a sideways step. at the same time, we do need cover for LB, so we need 2 players there. if we're looking to address more pressing matters such as midfield and up front by spending on top players (hopefully still to come), then it may mean we don't have enough funds allocated to bring in a top quality left back, and may have to settle for a reasonable player, such as Warnock.
