  1. Howay man, that's not saying much Aye but it gives me an immense feeling of satisfaction knowing the Mackems signed someone s*** and we signed someone half decent. Bramble isn't that s***, though as we all know when he makes a clanger everybody in the world knows about it. He'll do the same at Sunderland as he did at Wigan, solid for the most part with the odd moment of madness. Much improved over the player who was hounded while here. Bramble under Steve Bruce was a different player altogether. Bruce somehow managed to get the very best out of him consistently and in his time at Wigan he made very few of his trademark clangers. IIRC Bramble's name was actually being bandied about for an England call-up at the time.
  2. Well the article says something like 'Hughton rubbished all of those links, saying none of the players mentioned would be coming to the club' yet Hughton's comment regarding Ben Arfa was: 'I read about Ben Arfa. He is a cracking player and it’s nice to see us linked with him, but there has been absolutely no contact there whatsoever.' Until he categorically says 'he will not be coming here' I remain hopeful.
  3. Darmesh Sheth (spelling?) just on Sky Sports News saying that Ben Arfa has been offered to Everton, Newcastle, Liverpool and an unnamed german club, on loan initially with a view to permanent move. Apparently they need to get him off their books before they can sign Charles N'Zogbia. Maybe it's not so unrealistic if they're prepared to let him go out on loan.

    Dan Gosling

It's on Sky Sports news now
  5. He would be a great signing if true a workaholic and scores too Always rated him and would love us to sign him. Can play as a striker or creative midfielder, both of which we are desperate for. Hopefully our proximity to Scotland would work in our favour
  6. Davis is unwanted at Villa and spent most of last season on the bench. O'Neill has also said he's prepared to let him go. I reckon we'd have a decent chance of landing him. Onouha would probably be the more difficult of the two to capture
  7. For £8m I'm sure we could also do a lot better.
  8. Both Curtis Davis and Nedum Onouha are available for less than £6m apparently. I say sell him and sign one of the above to replace him.
  9. Wearing slippers FFS! And what's with the fucking teddy bear? He might as well be holding a foot-long dildo and a tube of KY jelly
  10. Ahaha, that's gay as hell! What the fuck is this club trying to do to us? They look like a bunch of fucking Homs in cheap knock-off market stall kits. Am I right in thinking our new Chief of Publicity is a woman?
  11. I think the whole kit would be alright if they embroidered the fucking badges on. As it is, it looks like a cheap market knock-off. After all the decent designs posted on this thread Puma should be ashamed of themselves. And half of our designs were done on Microsoft Paint FFS
  12. If we can afford to do so and it will not hurt our spending in other areas I wouldn't be against us brining in a new experienced keeper on the (very) cheap and sending both Krul and Forster out on loan. I'd be a big fan of this happening. Not exactly going to do wonders for the moral of either Krul or Forster though is it. I expect Krul would want to leave if it happened. Why? He'll know he's number 2 to Harper next season, he should know he needs regular football, he knows Harper is coming to the end of his career. If we sign yet another goalkeeper, how can Krul be sure he's going to be number 2 to Harper? And, if we are going after this other fella is he likely to join the club knowing he's going to be 3rd choice? Just seems like a pointless move all round, unless we're planning to sell either Harper or Krul to raise some transfer funds

  14. Now that would be embarassing!
  15. This is the list of UK-based free agents from the PFA website http://www.givemefootball.com/pfa-transfer-list?name=FullName&page=1 I didn't realise Alliadiere was on a free. Not the best but he'd add a bit of well-needed pace up front
  16. Yeah, because a golakeeper is obviously our priority. What a load of guff!
  17. I agree about John Terry, the guy is total prick. However, at least he comes out and talks with authority, like a captain of a national team should. I'd feel a lot more confident going into the game against Slovenia with him wearing the captain's armband than I would Gerrard. Steven Gerrard is not captain material IMO, he's not a talker on the pitch and he certainly doesn't seem like a leader off it.
  18. Titus Bramble ie. totally inconsistent. - Capable of solid defensive displays but also prone to the odd clanger. - No individual skill what-so-ever, - Good eye for a pass, good in the air and can hit the odd thunderbolt - Big cock
  19. I didn't think he had it in him but fair play to the lad: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/article7143753.ece
  20. Could it also have something to do with that pissflap Simon Jordan?
  21. Heskey's been on fire this season. Sorry, in my dreams, I meant to say, and "fire" as in "flames" and "combustion". Happy for Warnock. Bit iffy towards the end of the season, mind,so quite lucky to squeak in ahead of Baines, who bollocksed it up alla grande against Mexico. Baines out due to homesickness apparently. What a gay!
  22. He has stepped up for Tottenham this season, a huge factor in them finishing 4th. And before last season he's been instrumental in them not finishing 4th. Titus himself was being touted for an England recall quite recently when he was playing under Steve Bruce but, sure enough, he was back to his old self last season. Dawson's efforts this season have been recognised by Capello with an inclusion in the squad of 30 but he's not good enough to represent England at the world cup
  23. Those people suggesting Michael (white Titus Bramble) Dawson should be going to the world cup need to have a word. The guy is absolute dogshit!
  24. You've got to bear in mind that the squad has been training together for two weeks so Capello will have had a good look at everyone. Although the games are important, his decision will be based primarily on what he's seen behind closed doors. He's obviously seen more from SWP than he has from Johnson.
