Despite him only playing in the Scottish Premier League, he has been profilic. The same cannot be said of Leon Best. I think the Championship and the Scottish Prem are comparible in terms of footballing standard, in which Boyd would be a much better option going into the Premier League. Leon Best did fuck all for us at Chapionship level so he's going to do less than fuck all in the Premier League.

Hopefully we've agreed to it as part of a deal to bring Kris Boyd here. Although given that he's available on a free, I doubt it

What a bunch of fucking halfwits! Would it have been so difficult to say nothing at all or to release a statement that didn't panic the fans. How on earth can they get it so completely wrong on such a consistent basis? It baffles me how these two fucking morons have ever made a penny from business. The way they carry on i'd be amazed if they can tie their own fucking shoelaces.

IMO he's been England's best central midfielder for the last year or so.
-
I'd love it to be true but i've a strong feeling it's bullshit
-
There is no player I hate more than this odious little cuntstain
-
I don't know what some people's probelm is with Crouch. I think he's brilliant personally
-
To be honest this would be my preferred approach. There are a lot of decent players out of contract so if we can pick up cover for a few positions from that list, we can leave the transfer kitty to sign a quality striker and the creative midfielder we desperately need.

Portsmouth have been in a proper shit state this season. The ownership of the club has changed hands countless times, players haven't been paid, law suits hanging over the club etc. It's no bloody wonder they've been relegated. They are like we were last season x 5. They have some shite players, like every team that goes down, but they also have some decent young players who have looked the part individually this season. We might as well get them because if we don't, another team will.
-
Fuck that. I hope that cheating cunt Maradona gets knocked out in the group stages
-
any reason why he thinks it? Have texted him back and asked him why, so now waiting. coolio Reo-Coker is a decent player to be fair but I just think he's too similar to our other midfielders. If he was bought to replace Butt or Smith it would make sense. He's youngish, proven at Premier League level, wouldn't cost the earth and seems to be a good pro.
-
They're like Spurs - full of promise, but never acheive anything. England will get put out at the semis to Brazil - you heard it here first! Actually they heard it here second. Check my last post

I will literally weep if any of these happen.
-
You could argue that Nicky Butt's comedy overhead kick had earned him the right to lift the trophy. Best overhead kick ever!!
-
Don't care. We've won the trophy and promotion so who gives a fuck who lifts the thing.

I'm tipping Ivory Coast to be the surprise package. They've got some quality players and if Sven can get them organised they'll be dangerous
-
Filled my predictions into a world cup chart and it had us playing (assuming we win our group): Ghana France Brazil I predicted Brazil would beat us and that would see them playing Spain in the final.
-
Did Liverpool actually pay money for David Ngog? To say he's shit would an insult to shit. One of the worst players i've seen playing at the highest level.

Surely Puma will go all-out to make a great first kit for us. There's been quite a lot of publicity about their kit deal with us so I can't see them churning out some re-hashed s****. I'm confident they'll come up with a goodun. Um... Do we really want them to go "all-out"? I think the main danger is them trying too hard and f***ing it up, all they need to do is black stripes, decent collar, no f***ing capes, sashes, shoulder pads, boxes or anything. If they start trying to over-engineer it to make a good first impression and be "innovative" it'll end up bloody awful. What, so you don't want them to go all-out to make us a great kit then? Going all-out means putting maximum effort into something. I would expect any kit manufacturer to do this.

Roeder had managed before, in the Premier League, and had got the team relegated. He was a proven failure at the highest level. Hughton has taken charge of a few games as Caretaker boss but otherwise hasn't had a chance to prove himself. David Moyes was a journeyman player who started at Preston as player, then player/coach, then Assistant Manager and then Manager. He never got a team promoted to the Premier League and was unproven at the top level. Now look at him.
-
I don't get how people can say they don't think Hughton is good enough for the Premiership. I'd like to know exactly what it is about him that people don't think is good enough. We have absolutely blitzed the Championship with a record number of clean sheets and an unbeaten home record. We have 3 of the highest scorers in the league, his signings have been good, he has maintained total composure throughout the season and when we hit a rut he pulled us out of it. IMO he has shown all the characteristics and skills of a manager who can make the grade.

Danny Simpson can be relied upon to perform at the higher level. Eh?

I don't agree with this bit. It's generally those newly promoted teams that try to play pretty, attacking football that struggle. Workrate, physical presence and a solid defence are the key to survival in the early seasons after promotion eg. Birmingham and Stoke. The pretty football can come later when the team is established in the top league and can attract a better calibre of player.
