Why do you think they agreed to terminate his contract... I assume it might have something to do with the injuries, but i'm pretty sure it was reported recently that Derby were in financial trouble and have to sell off some of their players to balance the books. He didn't have long left on his contract and he's going to be injured for the majority of it so they get him off the wages and he gets a signing on fee from his next club. Win-win

Giles Barnes has Derby contract terminated by mutual consent. He's had his injury probelms but he's got to be worth a punt

Quote from Victor Moses's agent: "We can't deny the interest is strong in him - he is one of the best 18-year-olds in the country, bar none. eh?

http://www.the-news.net/cgi-bin/google.pl?id=1040-54 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukra Tbf if I was scout I would be saying "There is this lad who plays in Algarve I want to check..........can you book my tickets". I'd be unearthing The Maldives as the next hotbed of football talent in a shot. Fuck the Algarve!

N'zogbia, although talented, was a moody trouble-making little girl with a very high opinion of himself. Regardless of how dangerous he might be we're well shot of him and all the other cheese eating surrender monkeys who've thrown their toys out of the pram before fucking off.

I'd most likely cum if that happened................but it won't

Stefan Gislason and Gregorz Mielcarski were up there with Bakayoko in the early versions of the game. Good times

Victor Moses is the one we should be after. He's been class every time i've seen him play - twice!
-
Damien Duff was one of the least productive wingers i've seen play for Newcastle. I'd rather have Jonas any day
-
How do you make out hes s***?Who many times have you seen him play?? He's just taking the safe route - shit until proven otherwise.
-
I don't think playing Butt will be the biggest problem. My worry is that Hughton will put Guthrie on the right hand side which totally unbalances the team. If he plays Butt in the centre with Smith, and two proper wingers out wide I rekcon we'll walk it
-
We lose. I think two holding midfielders away from home is a decent idea as long as we have good attacking options on both wings. If we play Pancrate or RTaylor on the right wing and Jonas on the left we should be fine. Not if one of them is Nicky Butt. I agree but we don't pick the team unfortunately

He's a cunt! Mark Lawrenson is also a cunt!

Whatever happened to Matt Derbyshire?

Attainable Affordable Young Plays with Steven Taylor for the U21s Premier League experience He's not the best defender in the world but he's probably about as good as we could get We've got a mid-table premiership defence right now, we need to do eveything we can to build a good side in front of it. And not add championship standard cloggers like David Wheater. Actually we have a relegation fodder premier league defence, as highlighted last season. Coloccini cannot defend against pacey strikers and virtually every team in the Prem has at least one. We need to replace him with someone more suited to the league. Once we've done that we'll have a mid-table premier league defence.

Even if he went for £3m my signings would still work. I don't actually think it's that unrealistic given his age, status as an Argentine international and the way he's played this season. What do you reckon we could get for him? I'm laughing of how you spell his name! Ahh, I see. In my defence I was typing quickly

Personally, I think every team should be forced to play with at least 5 strikers and no more than two defenders, including the goal keeper. Then there'd be loads of goals and extremely entertaining. If goals is the only entertaining part you can see in football, maybe you should try another sport? I hear they score loads of points in basketball. I believe there might be a village somewhere missing an idiot!

Because defensive football is total s***! It's a f***ing brilliant idea, you're just mental. I hope you're taking the piss. Not in the slightest, I genuinely believe this is the best idea since internet porn. In fact, inbetween posting more genius musings on here i'm actually writing a letter to FIFA to suggest that they implement my system with immediate effect.
-
Jesus wept. Teams would still get 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss but the bonus point would just encourage teams to be more entertaining. I'm not suggesting this is ever likely to happen but personally i'd like to see a few more hell-for-leather football games with teams trying to score loads of goals.
