Good post! The biggest annoyance from me is so-called supporters singleing out certain players for being "shit". One bad game and it's "he's shit", "he's not fit to wear the shirt" etc. What a fucking awful attitude that is. It's these sort of comments and that attitude that innevitably, eventually filters through to players and saps their confidence. If someone has a bad game then fair enough let's talk about their crap performance but instantly labelling someone as shit because they didn't set the world alight on one or two games is ridiculous. Take Marlon Harewood for example. Here is a guy who hasn't played frist team football for months, is coming back from a long-term injury, has just joined a new group of players with a new manager, new tactics, new surroundings, new league etc. and he's already been written off by large sections of the "best fans in the world". It's no wonder the whole football world laughs at us for having unreasonable expectations.

Look, if it was an organised boycott that was pre-arranged, reported in the local press and eventually on Sky Sports it could create the right kind of impact. I'm not saying I think it's a great idea but just to dismiss it by saying it won't work is rubbish. Do it properly and it would make people stand up and take notice - think of it as an organised strike. Plan it ahead and it will receive the necessary coverage so that Ashley knows exactly what it's all about.

We've got a paper thin squad, we all know that. Lose 3 first team players to injury and we're reduced to playing players out of position to cover. Taylor, Collicini and Shola are so important to our team that it doesn't really surprise me we've looked and played shit without them. We also still have the same problem we've had for 3 seasons - no pace out wide and up front and no creativity in the centre of the park. It doesn't matter what league you're in, pace will always cause problems. IMO the best chance we have to win games is to drop Carroll, stick Lovenkrands and Harewood up front, stick Jonas and R Taylor out wide and keep the cunting ball on the cunting floor. It is disappointing how winning a few games in the Second Division, seems to have pacified a few people. I don't know if it's to do with the inferior standard of the league but he finally seems to be winning the ball earlier which means he letting strikers run past him all the time. The number of goals we conceded last season when he let the striker run past him was ridiculous.

Despite R Taylor being a bit shit he's about as near to a right winger as we have. We're always going to be unbalanced with 3 of Barton, Guthrie, Nolan, Butt and Smith in the midfield. Guthrie even said in his post match interview against Leicester that he doesn't enjoy playing on the wings.
