  1. The most recent estimate suggested that he has lost £1.1bn in about 18 months (58% of his wealth) My heart bleeds for the fat cunt!
  2. you could just leave and never come back? Fuck that, i'm looking forward to all the Championship banter............
  3. "He's my hero" Then you're an even bigger cunt than i thought you were Mike, if that's at all possible! Not long ago i supported Joe Kinnear and even encouraged some of you to give him a chance. Therefore, please ignore everything i post on this forum from now on. It's clear i know absolutely fuck all!
  4. Do you agree with the view of the majority of fans, that much of the current mess and animosity could've been avoided if channels of communications between the board and fans had been open and regular - as they were when Chris Mort was here? For the first time since we entered the premiership there are empty seats at every home game. If survive this season what do plan to do to reverse this? Currently it seems that the £20m you agreed to put into the club every season is being used to pay off debts. If you can get the club back to a position where it is self sufficient, would the full £20m go towards buying new players?
  5. Very sensible move IMO. With our Premiership status nowhere near secure it wouldn't be wise to sign players up on a long-term contract. IF we get relegated we'd probably have to sell the guy anyway. Let's wait until we know which league we'll be playing in, assess if he's good enough between now and the end of the season, and then make a decision
  6. He is rubbish though isnt he? He's about 80 years old now isn't he? sorry, couldn't ressit cracking the shittest, most obvious joke ever...............i'm so bored!
  7. He is rubbish though isnt he? He's about 80 years old now isn't he?
  8. I think his defensive capabilities and physique are good but his decision making is generally pretty bad, and that comes down to general intelligence IMO. Taylor has never struck me as the brightest lad and i think that might be the reason he drops so many clangers. Becoming a good CB has more to do with coaching than natural ability because it's relies on concentration, positioning and timing, and less on instinct and natural ability. Therefore you need to be relatively intelligent to understand the positional theory and apply it at the right times throughout the 90 minutes. If you're thick you're less likely to make it as a top class CB because you don't have the speed of thought to ensure you're always in the right position at the right time. That's my take on it anyway!
  9. How many right backs do they need? Gunter, Hutton, Corluka and now Pascal (i don't care about the money) Chimbonda. Old saggy arse complains about inheriting an unbalanced sqaud and then buys yet another CM and another RB? Daft old prick!
  10. The best thing we could do now is bring in Houllier as manager. Not only is he a very good, experienced manager, he also has a proven record of youth development - the work he did as Head of Technical Development for the French FA was instrumental in them winning the World Cup and the European Championships.
  11. Very true. I'll always support Newcastle United but i echo her feelings
  12. Hmm... Doesn't look too bad tbh.. Not a bad start for a Championship team tbh
  13. Probably, aye. That and they'll not want to leave due to their wages. Depends what their contracts say about relegation and what sort of reduction in wages they would expect, I think both would go if we did get relegated as Duff comes across as someone who has ambition to play at the highest level and Smith wouldn't play for his boyhood club when they went down so I don't see him staying here. It's hard to say who would stay, if you look at last year everyone thought Barnes, McFadden, Larsson and Hunt would all jump ship but they all stayed, a few might surprise us with their loyalty and I could see a position where we loan players out for 12 months if we can't get what we want for them like Juventus did. Four players i would happily welcome into our first team right now.
  14. We would have to get rid of all the big earners for a start so that's Geremi, Viduka, Owen, Martins, Duff, Barton, Smith, Collicini, Given, Beye, Jonas, Enrique and Butt gone. N'Zogbia would go because he's a miserable french cunt and I reckon we'd let Cacapa leave on a free because he isn't very good. At a push we might be able to hold onto Harper, Taylor, Bassong and Guthrie and i fear we're stuck with Ameobi, Carroll and Edgar. No doubt we could bring one or two of the reserves through such as Ranger and Lua Lua but we'd still be looking at a major rebuilding job. .............................Harper New RB......Taylor...........Bassong........New LB Lua Lua......Guthrie........New CM.......New LW ...................Ranger.......Ameobi/Carroll
  15. Why, for God's sake have they not provided motbud? Something to do with uncertainty about the nobbat
  16. No they f***ing well shouldn't. Someone explain to me what the point of having an excellent goalkeeper is when the rest of team is poor? Shay has made countless fantastic saves this season and where has it got us? We're shipping a lot of goals because our midfield doesn't protect the back four and because the defensive fringe players we have are fucking crap. Shay might keep the goals against tally down to 2 instead of 4 but it's still a defeat. We need strength in depth in midfield and defence, and if selling Shay Given will generate the funds for us to do so then it's a no-brainer as far as i'm concerned. At the moment it looks like we could be heading for relegation in which case someone will poach him off us for peanuts anyway. We might as well sell him now and sign a couple of players who could help us scrape enough points to stay in the league.
  17. I reckon they should send a copy of that letter to every national newspaper. One of them is bound to print it. It might be seen by them as another chance to laugh at the plight of Newcastle United but so fucking what.
  18. Whether he reads it or not at least they're taking some positive action.
  19. N'Zogbia probably reacted because if he gets injured it'll ruin his chances of a move away. For that reason i also hope Carroll beat the piss out of him! Hopefully this'll spell the end for the whining french cunt!
  20. Why the fuck would Bellamy want to go to Spurs? They could be going down and are about 12 places below his current club At Man City he'll earn more, has a better chance of playing european football in the long term and has the chance to play with the likes of Kaka and Robinho. Massive no brainer. If i was Bellaz it'd be Man City or stay put.
  21. Yeah, it was from The Bumper Book of Bullshit Statistics. At times like this Michael (world class) Owen should be stepping up to the plate and helping to drag us out of the shit. Instead he's doing fuck all but miss chance after chance after chance.
  22. For some reason we can't play well in the 2nd half under Kinnear. It's like we go in at half time and come out a significantly weaker team. We miss Martins a lot. Owen can fuck off as far as i'm concerned, he just misses chance after chance and contributes very little else. At least Matins can create something out of nothing. All in all another shit day, another dodgy as fuck penalty and another shocking 2nd half performance. I wasn't prepared to accept relegation was a realistic possibility until today but now.........
