Just another example of what a clueless fuckwit Fat Sam is. He probably took a crap long throw and couldn't hoof the ball 50 yards so the daft prick sent him home.
-
Better than sending an Argentinian international back home 2 days into a one-week trial like Sam Allardyce did isn't it? Who?
-
Well done Joe, you tell those fat cunts who's boss eh!
-
The latest is that they haven't signed him YET because he's buggered off home, wherever that is. How many fucking midfielders do the need exactly. They could probably fill their whole starting eleven and bench with midfielders. It's like they're snapping them all up so no-one else can have any

Very similar to the Diatta situation. Nothing lost...

Joe Kinnear said that one transfer will trigger another. I reckon if we sign Lovenkrands it will trigger the sale of N'Zogbia to either Villa or Spurs. That would give us funds to sign another player, and the ball starts rolling. We already have 2 left wingers so why bother signing another unless it's to replace Duff or N'Zogbia?
-
One of the reasons Distin cited for not joining us all those years ago was because we kept playing him at left back whereas Man City wanted to play him in his favoured position - Centre Back. Distin has tunred us down twice already so i doubt he's jumping at the chance to join us now, especially if we're planning to play him at left back.

Redknap's latest comments: “The money is there. We tried to get Downing but Middlesbrough didn’t want to sell him, so that’s dead now," he told the Sunday Times. "It’s not going to change, so we move on. We need a left-footer to give us balance. Jamie O’Hara came on there against Burnley and did well, and Gareth Bale can move forward one from left-back and do the job, so we’re not desperate, but Downing would give us that bit more.” Wouldn't suprise me if they put it an offer for our sulky little frenchman. He's the obvious choice after Downing.
-
That should be our first choice midfield IMO. Butt out will be a blessing in disguise and i bet we win as a result.
-
He's turned us down twice already so i'd doubt he'd fancy the move now.

Sure, let's boot out the only player that actually wants to play for us regardless of our situation. So f***ing what if he wants to play for us, he doesn't f***ing deserve to. And how do you know he wants to play for us regardless of our situation, for all you know he's a psychotic mercenary thug who's happy to pick up his £50k per week and doesn't give a f*** about anything else. For all you know he's a decent person beneath his short tempered bad boy image. For all you know Alan Shearer could have been a total nob end. For all you know Shay Given could be a coke addict. For all you know SBR could have been a spy for the Russians. So why do you hate Barton, when really you know f*** all about him as a person? Pipe down knob head, try reading the post i responded to before you start writing your shite. The truth is none of us know what his attitude towards the club is, but unlike some i refuse to believe he has the best interests of Newcastle United at heart given the way he's acted since he's been here. Of course i could be wrong but there's more evidence to suggest he doesn't give a shit than otherwise.

Sell him! Since he's been here he's either been injured, suspended or in jail. He's scored twice (if i remember correctly) and neither were from open play. Guthrie is doing a cracking job in CM but he needs some creativity next to him. If we can sell Barton and replace him with a goalscoring midfielder then get it done!

Yeah yeah I know, it's the sun. But if it's an actual quote, it would just make too much sense those two players being Enrique and Xisco. Xisco's definitely up for sale and Kinnear's been quoted as saying they're sending Nacho back to Valencia. Although we won't get any money for the latter, it does free up wages for another player
-
With the sort of money they have it's innevitable they'll have some sort of success in the near future, whether it's European qualification, a cup win etc. Even if Hughes goes they'll just replace him with Someone like Hiddink.
-
It's pretty sad that there are 13 players on that list that i'd quite happily see leave the club
-
Enrique and Xisco would easily generate £10m iyam, especially since they'd be likely to go back to spain and there is now euro-pound parity. the other player might be n'zogbia but i'd prefer it be Smith. Barton? Difficult to shift an injured player but it's been made pretty clear that he isn't Ashley's favourite

Yeah, his outstanding performance made all the difference against Liverpool didn't it. Despite all the saves he made the shite performance of our outfield players meant we still lost the game. Shay makes some oustanding saves, no doubt, but 90% of the keepers in the premiership would make saves in most (not all) of the same situations. The difference between a good goalkeeper and a very good goalkeeper is very small. We've got just as much chance of going down with Shay in goal as if we didn't because our squad is piss weak. Outstanding goalkeepers are often the fine line between a team finishing 1st or 2nd but IMO they are rarely the difference between a team staying up or going down - that's normally due to a collective group of players who aren't good enough. Name me one goalkeeper who has kept his team from being relegated through a series of outstanding performances.............
-
I don't think that's true at all. Good goalkeepers are ten a penny, outstanding goalkeepers are a little more difficult to find but if you have a decent defence you shouldn't really need one of those anyway. People seem to think that we'll get relegated if Shay goes - i say bollocks! Shay produces a number of unbelievable saves every game because the oposition are allowed to have too many shots on goal. Improvements in midfield and a stronger defence would make us more resiliant so we wouldn't have to rely on our goalkeeper so much. IMO Shay is one of the best shotstoppers and reactional goalkeepers in the world but he isn't the complete package.

There's no 'think' about it.
