Isn't it that Nile Ranger kid we're supposed to have signed?
-
Their president fucked us over. Screw him! Now he has a player on his hands who wants to leave, preferably to us, and is prepared to buy out the remainder of his contract in order to make that move happen. If Spurs interest in genuine then i think we should up the money to ensure we get him, however if thisis just a case of the usually reliable Sun newspaper making shit up then let's sit back and let Coliccini invoke the Webster ruling.

Curse it more like.

This is almost certainly the situation. We'll have put offers in for a number of players, who's agents then tout them around the whole of Europe looking for an alternative team: a. Who is prepared to offer more than us b. Who will improve the stock of the player better than us If no better alternative offer can be found the agent will start negotiations with us, but they'll hold out for as long as they possibly can. That's why we have to remain patient, although i'll admit it's starting to become a bit frustrating.

He can't cross the ball at all but i don't think his general passing is that bad. I'd be more confident in him passing the ball forewards and sideways than trying to hit an accurate swinging cross from the wing.

A few of us have been calling for this for a while and it looks like Keegan might have the same idea. The man really is a genius! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article1453327.ece

I feel as good as i did yesterday about our situation. The Aimar thing would've been nice but as soon as Alan Oliver latched on to the story i knew it wasn't going to happen. There's still a month left of the transfer window, and as far as we know there are still offers on the table for Arda and Gomis.

your never going to convinve me that he can help us break into the top ten. Was OKAY at Brum last year, and couldn't break into a fairly shocking Sweden squad at the euros. We'll see though Was only down to Lagerbäck who opted for his older players all over the pitch. Should have started ahead of Alexandersson and Elmander. Larsson would be a good signing, was more than "okay" at Birmingham last season.. but don't know if we need him? Beye at RB and Gutierrez/Milner/Geremi at RM... Geremi is never a winger, ever. And Gutierrez is just as apt on the left as he is on the right. But tbh, as a lot of people have said - particularly as the Guthrie signing came about - it's not like we 'need' them for the first team; it's about having a squad with good depth. this plus the fact he's better than Milner. He'd be our best winger if he came here I think you should reserve that comment until we've seen Spiderman. that's insane for a very costly second i forgot we had Spiderman, ridiculous in itself because my dad is going to be his kit sponsor this season Eh? ? Mr Northern Rock?

A mate of mine knows a fella who works for Chelsea (on the player contracts side of things) and he was saying that all it takes is one big transfer to set the ball rolling. Because most transfer deals are paid in installments, loads of teams effectively owe each other money and most deals are actually offset against that money already owed. This then frees up capacity for more deals to happen elsewhere. He explained it much better than that.

Best kit i've ever seen!

I'd much rather have Cuellar

I thought Bouhlarouz looked a bit crap tbh.

Blatant PR exercise by the English FA

Some Swiss no name? or One of the most highly-rated young talents in Europe?
-
That the worst thing about it - he praised Russia for their attacking, passing football just like he has done when watching Holland and Spain. I just sat there thinking you fat two-faced c***!
-
I heard he spat his dummy when Blackburn told him he wouldn't be bringing his team of clingons with him.
-
I think he's got too big an ego to accept playing for Hull City. Nope, i'm afraid we're stuck with him
-
I'd probably feel better about them if either Newcastle or England had won one. As it is I think they're shit, but what's the alternative? That said I have actually enjoyed watching the shootouts in this tournament. Me and some mates have been betting on each penalty taker to score or miss. I'm quids in so far!

I don't think the German league pays as well as the Premier League generally. I reckon he'd come here if we offered him £40k per week

Servette Arda Samba Diane Aimar Dunne Gomis Arshavin Digard Derdiyok Juhasz Chimbonda Larsson Guthrie All linked in the past few days. At this rate we'll have the biggest squad in the league.

I actually think we've made various moves already but we're waiting for Keegan to get back before moving them forward. Sources have reported bids for Digard, Emana, Dunne, Gomis, Arda and Derdiyok, Kaboul etc. so it sounds like there are offers on tables. Surely they can't all be bullshit. I think the first signing will be someone not involved in the Euro Championships eg. Digard, Lennon, Kaboul, with Derdiyok, Arda, Van der Vaart, Puyol, Sneijder, Villa and that Yetti who plays at the back for Turkey joining when the comp finishes.

When Keegan returns he'll discover that his desk and chair have been sold to recoup necessary funds, his salary has been slashed in half, and mowing the pitch has been added to his list of duties. Furthermore all employees must now supply their own milk if they want coffee or tea, and all lifts in the building have been turned off until further notice to save electricity. Finally he'll be told that no new players will be joining the club because no-one would accept Sports Direct vouchers as payment.
