This has quickly turned into the shittest thread ever!

Zenit deserved the win 100%. Rangers were negative, defensive and utterly boring. Any team that plays football the way they do deserves to win fuck all.
-
Cuellar, Arshavin and Tymoschuk. Now that wouldn't be a bad start to the summer.
-
He's 29 now so maybe he fancies a new lucrative challenge in the best league in the world.
-
He actually looks scarily like a Croatian bird i know. Thing is she's actually quite fit. Does that make me gay?
-
At under 21 level and managing in the lower leagues he was fantastic but when he went to Leicester his naivety and lack of experience in the transfer market let him down. I think he's still statistically the best manager England have had at U21 level.
-
Tymoschuck? also looked useful in his defensive midfield role. His passing was excellent the whole game, and unlike our own Nicky Butt he was always looking to pass the ball forward rather than sideways.
-
Let me just make it perfectly clear that my previous comment wasn't an endorsement of the possible signature of Louis Saha. I wouldn't touch him with a fucking barge pole.
-
People just don't seem to learn their lesson when it comes to Man U rejects. The only way anyone should sign Saha is on a pay-as-you-play deal. Otherwise you might as well set fire to £50k per week.

Never seemed like the Karaoke type to me.

Beye throttling Gamst Pedersen. Brilliant!
-
The guy surely can't be as big a cunt as Drogba
-
He's similar to George Weah in stature but he's tricky like Kanu and fast like Theo Walcott, but it's his finishing that's really impressive - a bit like Smaule Eto'o. In actual fact i have no fucking idea what he's like but he's got a really cool name so let's sign him!
-
Whereas I have a very rational hatred of Spurs

A close friend of mine is a Birmingham season ticket holder and he raves about him. He was tearing his hair out that McLeish didn't start him more often. I've seen him play a few times on football first but never a full game, but what i have seen of him has been impressive
-
Apparently Ramos offered Huddlestone + cash for someone which suggests he's prepared to let him go. Every time i've seen him play i've been really impressed. His dead ball delivery is excellent and he's a massive fooker as well which helps in this league.

Zarate would definately be on my shopping list if i was KK. £10m for a 21 creative, pacy south american South American striker who's already had a year to get used to the premiership, and in that time has shown glimses of brilliance. Yes please!!!!!! Zarate Huddlestone Pennant S Larsson Crouch Shorey Dunne A quality shopping list of very gettable players who are all Premiership proven.
-
We've been linked with a pay-as-you-play deal for Edgar Davids this morning. He's 35 now. Thoughts?
-
There's something a lot more exciting about signing a player you've never seen play so for that reason i've voted for Gomis. I'd be happy with any of Bent, Ashton or Crouch though. If Ashton could stay fit for a whole season i think he could be brilliant. He's shown flashes this season of what he can do but the guy's made of glass so he just represents too much of a risk.
-
He's just playing hard to get so we'll offer him more money.
-
Every manager we've had has tried to play down the expectation of the Geordie faithful by saying we can't do this, we won't finish there. Perhaps it's just Keegan's way of trying to dampen the expectation before it reaches critical point again. As for the southern media......Meh, Same old drivel!
-
Chelsea in negotiations with Real Madrid for Sergio Ramos according to a friend of mine.
-
There's so much animosity towards players that have come through our youth ranks and given their all when thrown in at the deep end, it's a wonder any fucker wants to play for us at all. Alright Ramage was shite but he was better than Bramble and we paid nothing for him. He tried his best but wasn't good enough. End of! Same goes for Shola - he was shite but he cost us nothing and scored some important goals. Luque cost us £10m and did significantly less, Smith cost us £6m and he's done significantly less. Now Carr on the other hand we did pay money for and he's been overweight, crap and workshy ever since. Good riddance to the useless little bastard!
-
Pennant, Huddlestone, Bentley, Nakamura, Elano, Downing, to name a few. I'm sure if we really wanted to we could sign any of the above, with the possible exception of Bentley, all of whom would represent a much better option than Jimmy Bullard. I appreciate that he's a decent set piece taker and would offer more than most of our current 'attacking midfielders' but we should be aiming a lot higher than him. Just because we could get him easily doesn't mean we should.
