1. My name is Luka.....................I live on the second floor.
2. Alan Smith is the first name on my team sheet. Derby were expected to be crap and they haven't let anyone down. Alan Smith cost £6m from Man United FFS!
3. The fact that our defence has been so strong recently gives me a lot more confidence that we can get something from this game - 1 goal conceded in the last 5 games. West Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam 0 Newcastle 2
4. It would also make a lot of sense from a season ticket selling point of view.
5. Although i despise ManUre wholeheartedly, i hope they win it because they play football the way it should be played. Them winning the Champions League sends out the message that defensive football will only get you so far. Can't even be arsed to watch tonight's game because i'm 99% certain it'll be shit.
6. I reckon £50m, plus whatever Keegan can raise from sales. I can see a few players leaving so i reckon we're in for a busy summer.
7. You rate him a lot more highly than I do. Fair enough. Past Sunderland teams have had players who have really worried me when we've played them, Gabbiadini, Phillips etc. He just doesn't worry me and hence I can't rate him too highly. I thought Reid was their best player and he's 20 stone. Nuf said. What if he had someone like Keane, Defoe, Martins etc playing alongside him and 2 quality wingers whipping balls into the box? My point is that he's surrounded by s****! He plays most of the game up top on his own with his back to goal, feeding off long balls from the back. If you surrounded him with quality players he'd thrive. Dunno. Too many "what if's" to make me want to sign him. I'd rather he proved himself and also showed some ability to notch before spending the type of money they'd be asking. Better proven players will be available for that kind of money. No doubt! I don't think he'd represent particularly good value for money at all, but expecting a player to do more than he's done in a team of such poor quality is asking too much IMO.

9. I think you're being overly harsh on the lad really. One Ok season!? Firstly it's his first season in the premier league so to do what he has done already is impressive Secondly he's playing for one of the worst teams in the league with crap players around him. If he'd had the same season playing for Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd etc then you'd say it was OK. To do what he's done playing for the makems deserves a lot more credit IMO.
10. I could see a few teams moving for him - Pompey, West Ham (goes without saying really), Man City, possibly even Liverpool if they lose Crouch. I'd like to see us try for him but there's no way Quinn will let him move here.
11. He was a proper footballer - a no-nonsense, 100% committed do-or-die winner. I hated the guy when he played for ManUre and i still think he's a cunt now but he's the sort of player football is missing. The game is being over-run with haircuts and diving puffs. I don't blame him for speaking out so often. He must be horrified at the sight of Ronaldo, Drogba, Diouf etc rolling around the floor like they're been shot, at the slightest touch from the opposition.
12. Dean Gaffney as Ryan Giggs
13. Alfred molina or Bob Carolgees as Philippe Albert
14. Michael Madson as Neil Ruddock

Ledley King

Shame he's such a crock because he's exactly the kind of player we need. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/7353870.stm
16. Still a useless self-obsessed cunt though!
17. Didn't really take my breath away but was fucking great...... Steven Taylor hobbling on to stick away a penalty against Holland in the u21 championships when he could hardly walk, and after putting in a man of the match performance.
18. Diarra and Baros doubtful for the game according to nufc.com
19. Sell him and buy Kaka, Ronaldinho and Benzema with the proceeds.

Oba...Obafem

Oba is outstanding in some ways - pace, power, ability to shoot with both feet. But he is also naff at other things Kuyt isn't outstanding at anything. He's good at most stuff but he's not the kind of player who will excite or single-handedly turn a game on its head. It comes down to what you prefer. Personally i love that flash of brilliance that Oba, Robert etc are capable of. I can forgive their inconsistency because i know that there will be occasions in every season when they make me think wow! Kuyt on the other hand. Meh!
21. Al-Sadd don't need the money. They can demand what they want for him
22. Despite looking w*** against Web Brom at the weekend, they did look very good at the back. Mind you, so have we in the last few games. Even so i can still see it being a fairly high scoring game with us snatching it 3-2 near the end.
23. More Silly season rumours from tribalfootball: Anderlecht winger Mbarek Boussoufa is attracting Premiership interest. The Daily Mail says Newcastle United are keeping tabs on Boussoufa leading up to the summer market. & Newcastle United are following Real Madrid defender Christoph Metzelder. Real have already received an approach from Newcastle about the Germany international's availability. I probably shouldn't even waste my time commenting on them but......Melzelder & Faye at CB would be awesome!

Bad news...?

He's a good player to bring on when the game is already won. That's it!
25. It would need us to get something from two of the Pompey, Chelsea and Everton games, and win the other three. Not likely!
