So head-hunting a well respected scout from Real Madrid and having him sign some of the best young talent from around the world is a bad policy!? What planet are you on? If we sign 20 young prospects at 300,000 each, that's £6m - the price of one Alan Smith. Some won't make the grade but some will, and they will either play for us or be sold at a profit. If you can't see the benefit of that then you're a fool.

Huddlestone is under-rated, and Lennon is better than N'Zogbia so i'd take them both if we were offered them.

They say to us 'we want N'Zogbia', we say to them 'we want Lennon, Berbatov, Malbranque, Huddlestone etc. in exchange'. The point i'm making is that they might not be prepared to do business unless we include N'Zogbia in any deal.

I'm not saying just sell him. I'm saying if we can get someone in from Spurs in exchange (someone who can score and create) then do it. Selling him with no-one coming in to replace him would be pointless.

I just think we could get a more productive player in for the money we could get for N'Zogbia. The way people on this board talk about him you'd think he was the premiership's top scorer for the last three seasons. There's no doubt he's a top prospect but for me he doesn't score enough or create enough even when he is playing in his best position. We need goalscorers now, otherwise we're going to have a very uncomfortable time between now and the end of the season. If we have to sacrifice N'Zogbia to get them in then we should do it.

How many goals has N'Zogbia scored and created this season? How many did he score and create last season? People talk about Milner's end product being shite but i don't see much better from N'Zogbia. If we wants to go then let him. He's 21 now, and if he was going to set the word alight he'd have started doing it by now.

Although i don't want to see him leave, if he wants to go we should let him. If it enables us to address our desperate need for midfield creativity it could be a sacrifice worth making.

Lets hope it's a swap deal involving Berbatov coming here and N'Zogbia going there.

I'd actually like to see Emre and Milner start in the centre with Zog and Duff on the wings - all out attack. I reckon Milner could be really effective in a more central role - he loves running at defenders, he can shoot from distance and he can use both feet. He's wasted on the wing because he's so predictable - his crossing on the run is gash and he's not quick enough to beat the league's top fullbacks.

Am I right in thinking he's back for the next game? I fucking hope so because he's the nearest thing we have to a creative midfielder. Keegan seems to rate him highly as well so lets hope he can be the man to get the best out of him.

A big clearout in the summer is what is needed. Our 3 previous managers have lumbered us with a load of players who are nowhere near good enough, and i include Owen in that. Unless someone puts it on a plate for him he doesn't score - that's not my idea of a potent striker. The problem with having so much crap in the squad is that it's making even our good players look shit. Get rid of the following: Owen Carr Rozenhal Butt Geremi Ameobi Viduka Cacapa Barton That leaves us with Emre (Still don't think we've seen what he can do) Beye (Class) Faye (Solid) Taylor (Excellent prospect) Enrique (Backup left back) Milner (Backup right winger) Duff (Class) N'Zogbia (Class) Martins (Dangerous if used correctly) Plug the gaps left with real quality and we can start kicking on. If we really do have aspirations of getting back among the big boys we need to be ruthless.
