  1. Players not getting game time can disrupt a harmonious squad. Leicester currently have 4 strikers barely getting any minutes so unless they're perfect professionals they could be causing a problem. He's probably on big wages as well, they might want to free up squad space for a new signing, the manager might not rate him. Plenty of possible reasons.
  2. I'm already assuming that the transfer window will be conducted along normal Ashley lines as there appears to be no hurry to get anyone in. Tosun looks like signing for Everton, if we wanted Slimani we'd have tied him up before he turned out for Leicester yesterday. It's possible there's some Daniel Sturridge type loan super deal being put together, but frankly I doubt it. PCP will probably sit back and see where we are at the end of the season and take it from there. The Tosun link stinks of agent talk tbh. Looks like it's worked since his client is on the verge of a big move. Leicester have 5 or so strikers so at least one of them will be leaving. I doubt Slimani playing yesterday will have any bearing on whether he leaves or not. Vardy took a massive kick to the bollocks in the previous game so he was left out due to that. Ideal opportunity to put Slimani in the shop window

    Rafa Benítez

He said we were already down in August after Huddersfield and that we won't win 10 games all season. After his recent posts, I think it's fair to say that he's a blatant WUM. Either that, or a massive clueless wanker

    Rafa Benítez

Any sign of Geordiedean this evening?
  5. When are we going to get awarded a fucking penalty FFS!? That was as blatant as you get
  6. This is probably the strongest example of our lack of investing in PL quality players costing us that I’ve seen this season. If we had PL quality in key attacking positions we’d be 3 up by now. Instead we have Championship players and we can’t score for shit. On a positive note, it’s one of the better performances we’ve had for a good while.

    Rafa Benítez

Nah, if it's the same person asking the same question and getting the same answer time and time again from different people, it's not everyone else's fault that the lad's a complete dunce. Your love for Rafa is clouding your judgement lad, many many people on here are so reluctant to even question his failings and inadequacies this season. Lots of things that he has done or implemented this season is open for question Mike Ashley is solely at fault for false promises or providing an adequate budget to obtain quality within the team that's true. What he is not at fault for is team selection; tactics; squad rotation and motivation. So my question to you again is whos fault is this? take the black and white glasses off before you answer it You either ignored or didn't see my question to you yesterday so I'll ask again. You lambast Rafa at every opportunity. I assume you want him gone. Who would you like to replace him then? It’s not his job to come up with new managers, just to try and force out the existing one despite him being world class. That’s what true fans do.

    Rafa Benítez

Great timing. This has been answered dozens of times now. Blatant WUM. f*** off back to RTG. Look idiot just because I choose to question Benitez does not make me any less of a fan than you are. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you spouting s*** like deluded is ridiculous. Im just not completely blinkered and in any operation in life if your team fails the buck stops at the manager or coach. If my team at work were underperforming and not getting the results expected it would be my fault no one elses and id likely be fired for it But whether that's fair or not depends very much on the equipment you are given to do that job. If your job is digging trenches and your boss gives you a table spoon to do it with, you won't do a very good job will you? Does that mean you deserve to be sacked? If your boss gives you a JCB to dig trenches and you still manage to do fuck all, yes you deserve to lose your job.
  9. Graham Courtney was on Talkshite this morning and said that the situation regarding Mitro is completely untenable. Rafa considers him a bad influence and a liability and wants him out of the club ASAP. Courtney said he wouldn’t be surprised if the club just tear up his contract to get him out of the club. Obviously we know that last bit won’t happen but as long as Rafa is here, Mitro will be nothing more than a last hurrah if we’re losing with 10 minutes to go. The sooner people get their heads around that the better.
  10. Do you understand how negotiating works? By asking for 10 - 15 million we'll probably get more than 5 million for him... Bet you think you're getting a real bargin every time you shop at Sports Direct. We'll see. If we sell him for 10mil, that would be a nice price, but also a contradiction to what Rafa's saying. p.s. there aren't any Sports Direct shops in Norway.
  11. It doesn’t mean Rafa doesn’t rate him as a player, it just means he feels Mitro is incapable of following his Instructions and playing to his system. That’s why Joselu gets game time and Mitro doesn’t.
  12. I had a dream last night that we won. For the record I had a dream last week that Dua Lipa noshed me off, so naturally I assumed we’d lose again. Merry fucking Christmas!!
  13. You’re not fucking serious?! Were people honestly calling for the return of this knacker?! Wow
  14. Pulis record at WBA was shocking yes and he rightly deserved the sack, anyone no matter who you are if you have that kind of record you deserve the sack...Mourinho,Van Gaal,Ancelotti have all been sacked too for s*** records Rafa takes 1 point from f***ing 27 though and hes absolved of all blame on all counts Yes we are a championship team and f***ed up majorly in the summer because of such tight restraints but the players we did buy are absolute garbage and a complete waste of 30m quid and this lad Kenedy will be no different. Tart it up all you like but 1 point from 27 is a sackable offence imo You’ve just said yourself that we’re a Championship team and yet you expect Rafa to be winning games in the PL with it. You’ve just contradicted yourself enormously! We are a championship team simply because we failed in the summer to move on from a championship team to a lower half premier league team. We bought players who have failed at premier league clubs and championship players. We failed to get rid of the s**** that contributed to us getting relegated in the first instance and yet these players still get gametime for us 2 years after that relegation. Im not contradicting myself at all. You mean to tell me that Benitez plays absolutely no part in us failing to get better players than what we bought and its all the fault of the team behind him. I really don't buy that at all after all this is the same Benitez that went to war with Gillet & Hicks over them not letting him sign Gareth Barry to replace Xabi Alonso He has signed these players or do people on here think he was just given them on a plate. Surely to god there were better options out there for the money we spent Murphy 12m.....Lejeune 8m......Joselu. 5m.....Atsu 6m....Manquillo 5m....All f***ing rubbish Money wasted on s**** In your original post where you definitely did contradict yourself, you said we’re a Championship team and suggested that Rafa should be sacked for not winning games with it. By that token you must agree that he’s a world class manager if you think he’s capable of that? If that’s the case, we definitely shouldn’t sack him, right? If you want a Maserati but can only afford a Nova but you still need to get to work, you try to find a BMW for Nova money and hope to fuck it can do the job.

  16. Its not my club so its easy to say, but I'm in favour of such appointments over the managerial merry go round of the same s***. It worked with Monk. It worked with Monk for a season and a half only didn't it? IMO no manager should start his managerial career at the top level, it very rarely works. From our point of view i'd love Leon Britton to get the job because I think Swansea would be a cert to go down.
  17. If Lejeune was doing it against the instructions of Rafa, he wouldn't be on the pitch. The fact that Rafa has picked him in successive games suggests it's something he has been told to do
  18. Intrigued by this train of thought actually, I mean "we've" managed to crack the code of how to beat the prices going up on behalf of Staveley et al so hopefully people at other clubs aren't able to. I mean after a decade of penny pinching us ringing up to buy David Luiz or Daniel Sturridge isn't going to ring any alarm bells like There's no chance of us signing either player permanently though so what's the giveaway? We're also in a perilous position so isn't realistic that a club in our predicament would throw a bit of caution to the wind? If we get the majority of our business done early and under the radar (like we normally do) I don't see why we couldn't keep it quiet. Just because the potential new owners have money doesn't mean they'll want to get bent over a barrel in their first transfer window. Value for money isn't just a Mike Ashley thing, it's something that every club owner looks for. Ashley is just a cheap b****** and takes it to a crazy degree. [emoji38] [emoji38] [emoji38] If we go in for the likes of Luiz and Sturridge even on loan Ashley has sold the club, and everyone knows it. OK Really will be very obvious imo. Moves for Kenedy on loan and such and I think you could look at it either way but if we go for proper PL quality and intend to pay the fees (even loan) and wages that would take then it's not Ashley in charge anymore. I take your point but if the sale of the club hinges on us being in the PL, isn't it feasible that Ashley would sanction moves that are non-typical? I'd say going for David Luiz & Sturridge is about as Ashley as you can get - tentative enquiries, nowt doing....'we tried'. Now, if we actually sign either of them i agree we can all collectively toast our new MILF owner. First bit could possibly be right but I don't really see how that would lower prices, has just as much chance to raise them surely? Anyway neither of us know nowt, I just thought it was a hopeful viewpoint in some way. f*** knows! I don't care either way tbh, it's not like it's my money. In a way it'd be nice to see us pay over the odds for someone just because we could. We've been shopping in the football version of Netto for far too long

  22. Yeah, I can't see them announcing the takeover until after the window. It'll just drive prices and wage demands up
  23. Anyway, we're hijacking the Kennedy thread. Let's agree that you guys are wrong and move on. OK?!
