If Sissoko had some end product to his game he'd be one of the best midfielders in the world. He has absolutely zero composure in the final third and offers little no goal threat so what exactly does he offer a top team? N'Zogbia scored goals and created chances consistently. Sissoko definitely looks like the better player and perhaps has the potential to be better player but at the moment he's all fart and no s*** Sissoko's end product is sometimes disappointing, but he can still usually deliver a decent cross and sometimes a clever pass and the stats from last season will probably back this up. Add that to his work at both ends of the pitch and you can see why top teams are going to be in for him. A wide player who is involved and does some running will often be preferred to talented fairy like Thauvin for example. Sissoko offers plenty of danger going forward, it's a myth being constantly peddled on here that he has no end product. He should score more for sure, but he creates plenty of chances for others, far more than most in our team. But but but but..stats mean nothing. He doesn't score goals so he's s****. And round we go... It's not that he's shit, it's just that he isn't the top player he and his agent seem to think he is. And it's not just about him not scoring goals (which he doesn't), it's the number of times he finds himself in goalscoring positions and totally fluffs his lines or chooses completely the wrong option. If he'd actually put away some of the many chances he had last season we'd probably still be in the Premier League. If it was a one-off bad season it would be excusable but it isn't, that's just what he does.

"He has always been loyal"

Need him to get subbed before the penalty shoot-out. He'll go from hero to zero and half his value when he thunderbastards it miles over the bar. Take him off while is stock is high.

This is exactly why I can't stand the guy. Capable of so much more than he's shown for the majority of the time he's been here. Absolute cunt!
-
I think the guy has been Pardewed. He is so utterly wank in the final third that it beggars belief. If it wasn't so tragic and he wasn't our player it would be hilarious. Still, some moron will cough up £20m for him

Troy Deeney's head is enormous

To be honest, I've seen enough of his feeble attempts at tracking back. It's not just one or two positions in a team that have to do it so the case for just moving him into the no.10 position doesn't fill me with hope. Far more interested in seeing De Jong finally get a run in the team in that role. another player i'd totally forgotten we had

What the f***. I'd have more confidence in his dedication/professionalism as a footballer if his appearance was a bit more down to earth and "normal" , like Mickey Owen for example... Not the best example tbh - he turned out to be a detestable mercenary cunt

If we'd signed him under Carver or Pardick i'd have been concerned but Rafa does his homework. I have absolute trust in him if Rafa's happy to sign him

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

I thought Tiote was off? -
I notice the thread goes from "they think they have a chance of signing him, he's far too good for them" then when it looks like we might actually get him - "Is he any good anyway? Average at best" It's the 3 stages of Mackem envy - doubt, acceptance, criticism. They're as predictable as my morning s***

The guy who gets Xisco and Isco mixed up is my favourite
-
That's 2 parts of our new spine through the door. Just need a big, mean centre back and a quality central midfielder now and we're laughing
-
Silly boy. It'll be the worst decision of his career if he leaves - Rafa makes players, Pardew destroys them. Even with us in the Championship, it should be a no-brainer for him to stay

Where are all the English women......?

We'll be more effective against decent teams than we were against teams like Russia, Wales and Slovakia IMO. Lesser teams in this tournament don't come out and attack you, which leaves very little space and very few clear cut chances. They basically stick 11 men behind the ball and make themselves incredibly difficult to break down. As soon as we come up against a team with more belief in their own ability we should, in theory, see a better England performance. We've got plenty of pace and some good, technical players who should thrive with a bit more space. Either that or we'll go out with a whimper like we usually do.

Worst I've ever seen Rooney play I reckon.

I quite like John Hartson as a pundit. Surprised how good he is, I always assumed he was thick as fuck when I watched him play. Danny Murphy is alright as well.

Didn't Tino get arrested for waving a gun around in public?

I've said it before and i'll say it again - Andy Townsend. Fucking helmet

I'd bring Sturridge and Vardy on and take Kane off Yup, we need 12 men on then pitch here. That's allowed, right?
-
I'd bring Sturridge and Vardy on and take Kane off Kane's done nowt. This was all predictable. FYP
