    Steve McClaren

I have exactly the same feeling. I also suspect Mr Mclarnon has very small testicles indeed.

    Perfect excuse to drop him.

I'd rather take the risk with those two than persevere with a lineup completely devoid of creativity and invention, that has proven time after time to be completely ineffective. There is complete certainty in continuing with the same line up, the certainty that we won't win any games. I'd happily take uncertainty over that option.

All sounds very good but in actuality - leaves us playing fresh air at right back and Gouffran in central midfield Fair enough on the right back situation, but a midfield of Anita/Colback, Wijnaldum, De Jong, Thauvin and Perez, on paper offers a lot more threat than Tiote, Sissoko, Anita, Wijnaldum.
  5. I don't know why there's so much negative s*** flying around about Mitro. He's generally played well for us recently with the exception of the last game. Because it's easier for ignorant people to place the blame on one player than to see the bigger picture. Perez could go on a run of not scoring for 10 games but because he always looks busy he won't attract too much criticism but because of the type of striker Mitrovic is and the way he is being utilised, his bad/mediocre performances stand out more. I'm beginning to think he might be better used as an impact sub until we can add some creativity to the team. If it carries on like this much longer he'll be terminally Pardewed.

McLarnon needs to deliver strong words, home truths and tough decisions but I think he's too weak to do any of that. He talks a lot about showing trust in the players and creating a positive atmosphere so he won't want to risk creating animosity. Colo needs dropping and stripping of the captaincy. Janmaat needs dropping Sissoko needs dropping Tiote needs to be put down Dummett needs to be moved to CB or benched. Bring in lads who would relish a first team opportunity and stop pandering to 'established' first team players who aren't pulling their weight.
  7. I haven't felt more sorry for one of our signings for a long time than I do for this lad. He's basically been hung out to dry since day one. He's shown he can finish when he gets chances but they come along so rarely that he's basically just running around making up the numbers, and given his character I bet he's fucking raging right now.

    Steve McClaren

It's surprised me how one dimensional he is. I never expected him to tear up trees and propel us up the table but I did expect him to be versatile and tactically astute given everything that has been said about him, and given where he has has managed. So far we've seen him stick with the same formation and personel game after game despite it not working. We've seen him ignore attacking/creative players in favour of workmanlike midfielders, we haven't really seen any discernible style of play emerging etc. None of it really suggests he's the world class coach and forward thinking tactician that he's made out to be in the old boys network. If he was he would surely have tried out some different lineups, formations and in-game approaches by now.

Most likely scenario is McClaren moving upstairs as Director of Football and Ian Cathro stepping in to take his first managerial role. In their eyes it will minimise PR damage and avoid them having to pay compensation. They'd probably trot out some shit about this always being the plan as they saw huge potential in Cathro but wanted him to learn the ropes from an experienced manager first. I wouldn't get excited about Seedorf or anyone else coming in. It's not the Ashley/Charnley way

We're crying out for some creativity and have been since the start of the season and yet, Aarons doesn't play when fit, Marveux doesn't play and De Jong doesn't play. I don't care if these guys are shit in training, we lose most of the games we play, we don't create ANY chances and we can't score for shit so he has to take a punt on at least one of them.
  11. We could get all of those things but unless we added some creativity to the midfield we'd still be shit.

Change the record you half bald muppet! It isn't working. Try something different!
  13. Giggs or not Giggs? Flamini reveals he's set to revolutionise the energy industry. Clever guy, clever rich guy. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/mathieu-flamini-arsenal-midfielder-reveals-he-is-set-to-revolutionise-20bn-energy-industry-a6735316.html
  14. Seeing Ben Arfa back in a France shirt reminds me how much I despise that clueless gobshite Pardew.

    Football pet hates

Not necessarily. That rule where the last defender is always sent off and a penalty given regardless of the severity of the foul is utter bullshit. According to Mike Riley the refs can use their own discretion in those situations but none of them do, they can't wait to whip out the red and it ruins games. It's the same when 2 players are involved in a bit of pushing and shoving. No one got hurt, it didn't negatively impact the game so just give them a bollocking and get on with it. IMO they should be doing everything they can to keep 22 players on the pitch and red cards should be reserved for seriously dangerous tackles. I think it would help if some of them had actually played the game at a reasonable level before becoming refs
  16. Need to make some changes here. The midfield are getting torn to shreds, we can't hang onto the ball and we look toothless going forward. Get De Jong on for Tiote or Anita and get a winger on asap.
  17. What the hell am I watching?! Feel sorry for the fans who have made the trip to watch this garbage.
  18. He's actually fat, you can clearly see a spare tyre under his shirt. This is a professional athlete! Done alright though to be fair

    Steve McClaren

I think we need to stick with him for a bit longer because there are some positive signs and i think he could come good. However, if he doesn't remove Colo from the starting line-up soon, he'll seal his own fate. I personally think Colo was royally fucked over by the ref yesterday fwiw but he has been terrible for 2-3 seasons and is now costing us on a regular basis. Drop Colo from the starting line-up and give the armband to Wijnaldum before it's too late.

Genuinely feel sorry for McClaren today. That was a fucking scandal
  21. Fucking joke decision. Can't blame Colo for that one. He eased the attacker off shoulder to shoulder and the Mackem cunt bought a penalty from a piss-weak referee. If the refs can't get the easy decisions right is it any wonder we give them grief? We might as well do away with defenders altogether because the art of good CB play is dead.
  22. It's really common for players of his type to start off well in the Premier League and then tail off for a while. Firstly the PL is the most physically demanding league in the world and it takes attacking players, in particular, time to adjust to the speed, intensity and physical rigours. They often start off well, get knackered and then take time to get themselves properly up to speed. It's a very well trodden path. Add to that the fact that every club has an analytical department designed to learn the ins and outs of every player at every other club - which is his preferred foot, what tricks/skills does he use, does he come inside or knock it down the line, how does he react to rough treatment. Within 2-3 weeks of joining the league a player who perhaps shone in his first couple of games has been analysed and a game plan has been created to stop him. This is nothing new and it's far too early to write Thauvin off. If he has enough talent, character and motivation he'll adapt and bounce back. Time will tell.
  23. Considering Dummett is one of our CB options and our only backup LB, that wouldn't be a great move

How many set penis goals have we scored this season already? There were 2 last night (which is more than Pardew managed in most seasons) but have there been any in the league games?
