  1. Wow, that lineup actually looks pretty decent. Swap Obertan for Aarons and it's pretty much spot on
  2. He does look like a right mean fecker. I bet Williamson loves marking him in training

De jong, Mitrovic, Aarons and Perez on the bench. That's quite a Pardew-esque move. Let's hope it's not a sign of things to come.
  4. He must be keen to leave and who can blame him? Not played by Pardewed, Scapegoated by Carver and likely to play second fiddle to Colback this season if he stays. This a move that could come back to haunt us. We need as much protection in front of our dogshit back 4 as possible

Positionally Williamson is the worst CB i've seen at Premier League level (that i can recall anyway). The sheer number of goals we concede from him being in the wrong place at the wrong time is staggering. The fact that positional play is mostly coached rather than instinctive suggests he's incapable of grasping how to defend at this level. If he made up for his abysmal positional play with something else eg. leadership qualities, heading ability, goal threat etc. you could probably cut him some slack but he's not very good at any of those things either. I'm sure he's had one or two games where he played alright but they are definitely an exception to the norm.

Nope. Not having that at all
  7. Has anyone from the club elaborated on why our defenders couldn't play on the pitch? I'm pretty sure all of them train on artifical pitches regularly enough so what's the deal with this one?
  8. I assume from the scoreline that Williamson played in this one?
  9. Never heard of him but he sounds decent and he's not Mike Williamson. Sign him please

    Charlie Austin

Maybe QPR were prepared to drop their asking price after receiving £9m from the Raheem Sterling deal.
  11. Get in There isn't nearly enough bollock punching in professional sport. Good lad
  12. The best thing that could happen to this club in the transfer window is for Williamson to do one, permanently. Nice lad, absolute ballbag of a footballer
  13. OK, maybe 'no diving' was a bit much but compared to the farce that the Premier League has become, the women's game is clean as a whistle.
  14. I think I enjoy watching women's football more than the Premier League - no diving, no players yelling in the referee's face, no close-ups of massive flemmy gobs, ref's letting players tackle and letting the games run and some reasonably attractive women with obvious nip-ons. Ok, so the standard of football isn't great but it just highlights how much there is to dislike about men's top flight football.
  15. The level of incompetence at this club is staggering. The signings are one thing (and a major one obviously) but we have actually started a Premier League pre-season without any coaches or an assistant manager.

    Remy Cabella

It's just far too easy for people (who should know better) to say he's not strong enough or big enough. He's plenty big enough and has enough skill and technical ability to be effective in this league. He just needs to be coached to do the right things at the right times, something Carver and the other dinosaurs were never going to be able to do. Under our new coaching setup i'm sure we'll see a different Cabella to the one we saw last season.

    Remy Cabella

This whole 'he's not built for the Premier League' line is constantly peddled by morons and has-been former 80s era players. Go and tell David Silva, Juan Mata, Eden Hazard, Gianfranco Zola, Bojan, Christian Eriksen etc etc. that they're not built for the Premier League you ignorant pricks. A bit of decent coaching and management will see Cabella come good.
  18. He also looks like a right fat cunt in some of the photos/videos

    The Coaching Staff

It does beg the question - what the fuck does he want to come here for?
  20. It's still early in the transfer window. If he realises during pre-season that he doesn't have a prayer of getting in the first team he'll probably change his mind. I expect he'll move on loan towards the end of the window.
  21. I'd be interested to know if the branding space currently taken up by the Sports Direct signage is still up for offer to potential sponsors or if that was another lie.
