  1. The Cabella thing this season's been appalling as well, unceremoniously dropped after a handful of games rarely to be seen again in favour of largely ineffectual replacements. Finally cobbling together his NUFC career a bit again now, but on the back foot already due to perceived laziness/softness versus perceived graft/brute. Because of a few games at the start getting used to the league. It was so familiar yet almost as infuriating. Takes the p*ss. He's must have been devasted to be left on the bench and have to watch Sammy Ameobi tripping over the ball for 75 minutes (to be replaced by a left back)
  2. What does that even mean? Am i being really thick here or what?
  3. I don't think intelligence or logic play a role either. Junk food on the other hand........
  4. Given how good a business man Ashley is, it's fucking baffling why he's such a retard when it comes to maxmising the return from his NUFC business model. Employ a decent manager to get the best out of the players we buy and he makes more money. The by-product of that is that we actually get to enjoy watching our team again and he'll get less abuse. It's a win-win. Alternatively he can employ another never-has-been manager who will bench our best players, causing their value to drop and him to make a loss. I'm more and more convinced that he's only in this to inflict as much misery as possible on us for calling him a Fat Cockney Rapist
  5. Still can't bring myself to dislike Gouffran - the guy was well and truly Pardewed and hasn't recovered. Came as a striker, got a few goals, became a crowd favourite and then Pardew worked his magic and now he looks like a Championship clogger - and to make matters worse he now has to operate under a man with seriously mental issues. I still think there's a decent player in there somewhere but he'll probably need a move to rediscover his form and ability. F*cking Pardew man!!!
  6. Always liked Cisse. Has a great attitude and plays the game with a smile on his face. He's also bailed us out of ths hit on a couple of occasions this season. Shame he was treated like shit at times by Pardew. Abeid seems like a decent lad as well. Admittedly i've never heard him speak but he's developed a bit of cult status this season despite being out in the wilderness for most of his time here. Anita - another one with a decent attitude. Treated like shit by Pardew but still wants to stay and fight for his place. De Jong - shame he's a perma-crock. Seems like a sound guy and a decent footballer Steven Taylor - can't help loving the guy. Can't stand Williamson - woefully out of his depth. Not his fault really and he seems alright but i've developed a proper hatred of him as a footballer.
  7. Spurs are shite at the moment. I can see Hull getting something from that game
  8. We actually looked like a football team for parts of the game ie. we strung more than 3 passes together going in a forward direction. Then again, we looked like fucking school kids at other times.

    The guy's a fucking crackhead
  10. Aye, goalless draw or 1-1 is my gut feeling. Goalless draw!!? Have you seen us defend? No I haven't I know they beat Man U but we're not exactly playing Barcelona here. Not Barcelona no, but a Tony Pulis team that will exploit our weakness at defending set pieces. It'll be like lambs to the slaughter. All I can see is another heavy defeat
  11. The ultimate insult is that the club deliberately shun aiming for European places and domestic cups because they believe both increase our chances of relegation and yet it has been their stupidity, cheap attitude and shit decision-making that has seen us relegated once and on the verge again this time. The only two things we could possibly enjoy under this clusterfuck of an owner are deliberately kept from us and that is unforgiveable. If we go down it's nothing more than the regime deserve and if it puts even a slight dent in Ashley's ego then fuck it, i'm all for it.

Another great quote by The Secret Footballer that perfectly illustrates our current predicament with this massive t*** in charge: If, as a player, you have no clear instructions when taking to the pitch, then it is extremely difficult to make decisions with and without the ball. To my mind, that has led to a lack of effort, not necessarily because the players are lazy – though I’m sure one or two are – but because they simply don’t know what they are supposed to be doing, so they simply do nothing. He was talking about QPR under 'Arry but it couldn't be more true for us right now
  14. But knowing full well, if promotion is achieved it will be back to square one "we have no money, Mike had to lend the club money". Rubbish players bought for peanuts, good players sold, cups ignored, europe ignored. and repeat. Its funny tho how we have ignored both domestic cup competitions and we've been relegated once, nearly relegated and looking odds on to get relegated this season. We'll just have to hope for the play-offs, celebrate when we get there and then hope we lose in the final so we can enjoy another season of watching the team trying to achieve something.
  15. The only chance we have at seeing genuine ambition from the team is if we go down. We can't challenge for the Premier League title, we treat the domestic cups with distain and we actively look to avoid Europe. But go down and we will be fighting for the title and aiming to finish as high up the league as possible - imagine that!! It's possibly the only way we'll start to enjoy watching our team again because while we're in the Premier League it merely be more existing to exist. I've forgotten what it's like to have something to cheer about....

The enforced absence of Williamson might also prove to be a blessing.

It just highlights how important intelligence is in a football manager and not genius level intelligence, just an IQ above 50. Identify that something isn't working and change it to try and improve things - not exactly A-level Maths is it? A fucking baked potato could see that we can't defend for shit, that hoofing the ball to small players is retarded and that Ryan Taylor has been totally counter-productive for 2 months. So instead of actually 'managing', Pauline Quirk persists with a defensive set-up that plays hoof ball and sees set pieces as our best chance of scoring. He leaves pace, creativity and goal threat on the bench and then seems incredulous when we lose for an eighth consecutive game. You are the problem John, YOU!!

This whole debacle would be a little easier to stomach if he'd just have a fucking go at the opposition. If we started the next game with a front 3 of Cabella, De Jong & Perez with Ryan Taylor nowhere near the starting line up and we still lose, fair enough. But starting games with Jonas & R Taylor and our creative players consigned to the bench is suicide. It hasn't worked and it never will. Change something you fat cretin!

    John Carver

Says that if he got the management gig full-time and he wassn't good enough he'd walk away. Why not do it now seeing as we're on the verge of relegation? If he loves the club as much as he says it would be a total no-brainer to step aside and yet......
  20. I wouldn't have Ryan Taylor in my 5-a-side team. League 1 dogshit!
  21. Fuck you Ashley!! Another spell in the Championship - you reap what you sow.

    John Carver

Quote: A toon fan who accused boss John Carver of being threatening and abusive has backed him to save the club from relegation. Eh!?? The only reason we're battling relegation is because of him you daft tart!! You couldn't make this s*** up FFS. It's like a horrible soap opera written for retards, by retards.
  23. At that point I assume Sports Direct would become our shirt sponsor.

    Steve McClaren

I'd snatch your bloody hand off for a 6 appointment right now. Kinnear was a -5, Pardew was a 3 at best and Carver, as pointed out above, is a big fat 0. We've all been seduced by some of the names bandied about on here - Garde, Tuchel etc. but realistically that was never going to happen. As usual we'll be shopping at the charity shop end of the market and although McLaren is uninspiring he is at least a competent coach/manager. At the moment that's the very best we can hope for.

At the time, I thought that was the case though. That was my over riding feeling when we'd drew with Swansea, as the week leading up to the game was all about Pardew leaving. I thought we had him at Stoke but he managed to hang on and I thought if we'd lost at Swansea that would have been game over. Looking back, it's clear it wouldn't have made a difference if we'd lost. For me it was when some fella posted on here that he'd spoken to Llambias and Ashley outside a club in London and Llambias was absolutely outraged at the suggestion that Pardew should be sacked. That's when it sunk in for me. Thank fuck the parasite jumped ship of his own accord, otherwise we'd have been stuck with him until the end of his contract.
