Horrible little genius bastard

In other words, 'Pardew is a cunt'
-
Some of this guy's goals for Ajax are ridiculous although the standard of defending in the Dutch top division is pretty crap. Still really excited to see him play. I reckon him and Cabella could be pretty dangerous together.
-
Thanks for clearing that up.
-
Some newly promoted team would take a punt on him purely because he has Premier League experience. Like most football fans they'll look past the dogshit football, terrible signings and repellent personality and hire him because he plays 'attacking football' and once finished 5th.
-
He's completely f***ed now in terms of his career arc. Palace will sack him in due course. Where do you go when you're sacked from Palace? Back here, knowing our c*** of an owner. As Director of Football

Black and white facts back up how shit Pardew was here. Poorly informed opinion is the only thing that seems to counter it. If people want to make themselves look utterly stupid by suggesting he did a good job here (pundits included) then leave them to it. It would only take 10 minutes on the internet for them to actually find out the truth.

Swansea, Leicester, West Ham, Southampton, Hull, Palace, QPR all came up recently-ish and they have all shown more ambition than us. Once you come up and consolidate your PL status you then aim to kick on. That's what they have all done with varying degrees of success but at least they have all showed a willingness to improve and aim high. Given how successful our scouting network is, it would take relatively little money (nowhere near £50m) and a decent managerial appointment to have us battling with Spurs, Southampton etc for European places and domestic cups on a regular basis. To actively avoid doing either out of some ill-founded logic that it would increase our chances of relegation is football sacrilege and the complete opposite of what a sporting establishment exists for. If Coventry came up they would show more ambition than us because all that entails is aiming to be the best they can be.
-
There's a massive difference between the two clubs - ambition. Coventry may not be in the Premier League but they have a goal to get there and they will do everything in their power to achieve it. It's the same goal as all but a very small percentage of football clubs, from Sunday League upwards, and that's why supporters carry on supporting attending games week-in, week-out. We have no goal other than to exist and therefore, we as supporters of NUFC are being royally fucked over. We have the financial means, the supporter base, the stadium and the global pull to be a major force in the Premier League but that's not what the board are interested in. Coventry fans can complain about us moaning despite being in the Premier League but the truth is that they, as supporters, are in a much better place than we are.

Typical modern football mentality - make as much money as you can while you're flavour of the month. He's an above-average Premier League striker at the moment but nothing we haven't seen before. He'll get a move to Spurs or West Ham, earn £60k per week and become just another Agbonlahor/Robbie Keane/Odemwingie
-
There definitely seemed to be a noticeable shift in his attitude, not just towards player sales but the also the fans. Make no bones about it, he has always been a monumental cunt but there was a time that he seemed to at least fein an interest in the football side of NUFC - sacking Allardyce, hiring Keegan, hiring Shearer, promising to put in £20m of his own money each season, spending money on a new borehole etc. Perhaps it was the 'Fat Cockney Rapist' banner that sent him over the edge.
-
I think it's slightly different with Carroll. He's the only one of the outgoing transfers that we seemed keen to keep hold of, hence truning down the previous offers. I'm sure we would have sold him eventually but I doubt any team would turn down £35million for a relatively unproven striker who cost nothing in the first place.
-
This. He'll at least insist on a couple of years of free advertising and a gagging order.
-
If Rangers taking our players on loan gets them into the SPL quicker and increases the chances of Ashley fucking off then i'm fine with it. Send them Sissoko and Ayoze as well
-
I can't see Gouffran going for that. The guy never complained but he can't have been happy with playing as a defensive winger having come as a striker. Since Pardew left he has started scoring again. Funny that....

Completely Giggsed the f*** out of you. Another one to add to the list No, don't count that one. I was Giggsed, which cancels your giggs. You get nothing for a double Giggs

Santon has seemingly confirmed it himself: http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2015/02/02/8527582/newcastle-full-back-santon-announces-inter-return?CMPID=TWUK_150202_SantonInter Sorry if Giggs

Swapped Costa for Carroll. Reckon he might give Liverpool an aerial bumming
-
Surely he must be better than Riviere?
-
We're talking about Pardew here. He'll stick Gayle in a defensive wide man position, start with Sanogo and bring Shola on with 10 minutes to go (every game). Chamakh will play left-back.
-
I want him to do just enough to keep us up and nothing more. I'm happy to endure a squeeky bum end to the season just so there's absolutely no chance of this tool getting the job permanently.
-
It has begun! I'm attributing Palace's winning run to-date on legacy work done by the previous regime and the feel good factor around the club. I refuse to believe anything else. Pardew has now signed his 'chaos' striker and the obligatory big guy to lump the ball to. Give it a couple more weeks and the players will start to adapt to his brand of football, then it's all downhill from there.
-
If someone had said to you at the start of the season that you'd have to put up with Carver in charge for 20 games and write off the 2nd half of the season to get rid of Pardew, would you have taken it? I would have, 100% All of the exciting names chucked about seem to have got everyone into a frenzy. There's still a good chance we'll get a decent manager in place for next season (if we're still in the Premier League ), we just have to put up with this cretin for a few months. What's a few more months when we've had to endure 4 years of Pardew?
