  1. When you're out of your depth and you've got zero fret That's a Pardew
  2. For me the 5th place is cancelled out by the following season when he almost relegated us. If you mention one you have to mention the other because they are equally significant. Talking about either in isolation presents a biased argument. Beyond that we have finished in average league positions coupled with dismal cup performances, with teams full of established international players, playing a brand of football that isn't even worthy of a non-league side.
  3. I'm sure he'd leap at the chance to work under these conditions for £500k per year.
  4. I'd love Hoddle here. It's about time he got back into management and he's about as far removed from Pardew as it's possible to get.

Just asked Joey Barton what he thinks of the Sack Pardew campaign on Twitter, with a link to the website. Let's see if he responds.

If he hasn't already, he will do after Saturday. His marketing/brand team should be concerned about the negative connotations of the brand being associated with the sack pardew campaign

This would make an awesome case study if it works. I can this being the inspiration for a lot of similar campaigns at other clubs.

I think the parody banner/logo is a stroke of genius. That's more likely to Ashley's attention and really piss him off than the black and white ones. It's also the first time we used anything that he values against him. Need to get thousands printed and handed out, and get it all over social media.
  9. The contrast between Fergie and Moyes was always going to be difficult for the Man Utd players to deal with, and the fact that Moyes has never won anything but wanted to change a setup and style of playing that had delivered so much silverware innevitably led to failure. However, the contrast between Pardew and Moyes would be equally massive. Moyes might not be a manager who is particularly forward thinking in his approach to the game but he would be an upgrade on Pardew in every sense - coaching, tactics, player progression, professionalism, communication etc.
  10. The defence is a joke but we have a team full of France internationals, an england international, a couple of Holland internationals, a striker who lit up the league in his first season, and one of the Premier League's newest bright sparks. We're hardly Burnley are we? Admittedly it's not the strongest squad we've ever had but there's more than enough there to finish in the top 8 IMO. The fact that we look utter turd under Pardew has far more to do with Pardew than it does our group of players. what? Only 4/5 of our first team are active internationals. And only 2 start for their nations. Our French internationals are Sissoko and Cabella. One is adapting to the league the other is slightly above average and can barely pass. We only finished top 8 last season due to 2 lads that aren't here anymore. This squad is weaker than lasts. Weaker in every area. We've lost the quality that separated us from the mire in the league. Our 'England international' is Jack Colback ffs. The squad is p*ss poor. 1 that Alan Pardew will relegate and another good manager might struggle with. With Pardew in charge. That part cannot be understated. The squad we had last year was capable of so much more than it delivered, just like this one is but again, Pardew was/is at the helm.

  12. I think our only hope of getting a reasonable replacement is that Lee Charnley and Graham Carr have some say in this whole process. I don't know much about Charnley but for some reason I have more confidence in him making an informed decision than I do Ashley, Llambias, Kinnear or any other behind-the-scenes croney we've had. I've no idea where this faith comes from but i've got to cling to something.
  13. 11 men behind the ball against Hull then. By the way Alan, it's not nerves, it's a combination of shit defenders and shit tactics you fucking clown
  14. Pundits are a total joke. You'd think a certain amount of knowledge of the clubs they're commenting on would be a pre-requisite for the job but it clearly isn't. The line that really boils my p*ss is 'you can't sack a manager after 4 games of the season'. What about last season you jobsworth c***s? ! The guy has had a full pre-preason to put right the issues that caused us to go on an epic losing run at the end of last season. If anything we're even worse now. I wish just one of them had the balls to lay it out in black and white instead of peddling the same safe bullshit.
  15. At least the fat prick has put a possible date on it. There's now some hope that we won't be shackled to him forever.

Of course we can score goals. We have more than enough ability in the team and the squad to score goals frequently. What we don't have is a manager who is either interested in that side of the game or capable of setting up the team to do so. Our goals scored may increas if we ditch Pardew but at present under Pardew we dont score very many. We usual win a game 1-0 or 2-1..On the flip side if we concede first we normally go on to get a sound thrashing as Pardew is unable to change his team...and te team has no confidence to come back from a negeative score line. And for that reason he's the absolute worst manager we could have in this current situation. Caution, nicking wins and focusing on defensive solidity with a below average defence is suicidal. We don't have a Cabaye, Ba, Remy, Carroll etc. that will drag him out of this situation. We know that, Pardew knows that, the media dont seem to want to accept it. Some of the media anyway. Does Pardew know that though?! He knows he doesn't have the player to drag him out of the shit but he's more likely to go ultra defensive than throw caution to the wind. He's also the most arrogant man alive so he's hardly going to admit his principles are flawed regardless of the personnel he has available to him. I have no doubt that he'll convince himself that the vast majority of fans are still behind him and the protests are from the minority, and who are the media more likely to listen to, him or us? Sports writers and ex-players are all sycophants. They're like a fucking cult the way they protect each other and refuse to speak out against one of their own.

  19. Ashley would never pay compensation for a manager so it would have to be someone out of work. I'd love someone like Zola but we're far more likely to end up with Tony Mowbray or Owen Coyle

A polish mate of mine went back to Warsaw for the weekend and came back with about 5 kilos of Polish sausage in his suitcase. Apparently the stuff you get here just isn't the same. That's a bit different than having cooked meals sent over, which appears to be what the big man is doing Yeah, there is a world of difference to be fair. Surely it'd be cheaper and fresher to just hire a chef? If there aren't any, hire one from here and fly them out there.

The fact is the club will never be what we want it to be as long as Ashley owns it but getting rid of Pardew will at least give us some chance of starting to enjoy watching our team again and regaining some pride. That's enough for me.........for now anyway.

We could have the whole Germany first 11 and we still wouldn't get in the Champions Leage with this bell in charge. Martinez nearly managed it last season with a significantly weaker squad than Chelsea, Liverpool, ManUre and Arsenhole, and he spent nowhere near £100m to do it. Good managers create teams that are better than the sum of their parts. Ours does the opposite
  24. Although it's a less important point, i'd add professional to that list as well - you know, someone who doesn't alienate players, headbut and insult opposition staff on the touchline, continually deflect blame onto others and generally drag the club's name through the dirt. I'd also like someone who can actually improve our players, both first teamers and members of the fringe squad, rather than making them worse. I'm not a massive fan of Moyes I do at least think he'd bring those 2 things but then so would most top level managers.
