"As a defender I will be the first one to receive the ball and to distribute it to the rest of the team" I like the sound of that but i'm not sure Alan will
-
Aye, that's him alright. He's a big fucka, let's sign him as well
-
Not sure why its busy for Pardew, its well known he has sod all to do with that side of it. He wasnt even on Tyneside as Mbiwa signed(at Villa match) He'll be sat on his arse with a cuppa, figuring out how to fit all of these class players into a rigid 4-4-2 formation
-
To be fair, just saying he is "proud" doesn't mean he is actually proud...but in general he seems on a more even keel with regard to attitude. We liked Remy's dancing and G-ness, but Gouffran will be better suited to our side at the moment, and to be fair, for £1.3mil, is practically a free player! Didn't Williamson cost £2mil? Who?
-
The insults thrown at him are only done so out of frustration and are definitely not aimed at him as a person, just as a footballer. I'm sure he's a top lad but tbf he is a 'cunt of a footballer' and has cost us numerous points on his own this season. If he has to stay as 4th choice then fair enough (and he'd probably be happy to do so) but i'd rather we replaced him with a younger, hungrier, less error-prone player.

If a Premier League team asked us for one of our star players for free we'd tell them to fuck off. Why should this be any different? Either pay what he's worth or fuck off!

The bloody image hosting thing keeps shrinking them.

Fuck that!

No red BMW 3 series convertible
-
A last minute deadline deal for Williamson to sign for Fleetwood Town would top it off perfectly.
-
? That is a BMW Convertible from the late 80s; 3 Series. Thought as much
-
And you had nothing to do with that Alan?!
-
?

Aye? 5 Players from the french league? Not really got a clue about french football myself, barely heard of any of the linked players.... Someone do a football manager style post for where they would fit in the team. Krul Debuchy Mbiwa Williamson Haidara Obertan Sissoko Cabaye Gouffran Cisse Shola Nice one, are they all going to sign though, yes? Ahh thats good then. No Ben Arfa?!
-
Imagine the massive anti-climax if this guy signs and the club announce that Colo is leaving, meaning our new world class CB still has to partner Williamson
-
The away form is the biggest concern for me. If we're going to stay up we'll have to pick up some points on the road and we haven't won a single away game all season. If we don't win at least a couple of away games I reckon we'll go down.
-
Anyone else consider that if we sign all of these players we might not actually sign anyone else in the summer?
-
He would go down in history as managing the most talented group of players ever to be relegated from the Premier League.

I'm not so sure about that last bit now to be honest. I used to think it would be a problem but our scouting network and player recruitment policy has been applauded and highlighted in the media. It's a well known fact that we have one of the best scouts in the game and that we have built a very good first team from relatively little spend. That has to be attractive to managers, surely? Is it more important to a manager to have players who have been rigorously scouted and vetted for compatibility with the existing system and first team players, or to have total control over incoming transfers and players that they themselves have selected? Hughes would almost certainly be the latter but i'm sure that the same can be said of all managers. I realise that there is a bit more to it than that - the Keegan debacle and Hughton's sacking certainly did nothing to enhance the Director's reputations but I still think we're an attractive club for a lot of managers.

Keep sticking Sky Sports News on in the hope of seeing the yellow ticker tape with "Pardew leaves Newcastle" on it. I'm so fucking desperate to get rid of this clown before it's too late. Its an absolute outrage that we are losing to a team like Reading and that we are anywhere near the drop zone. If we go down that arsehole will have relegated probably be the most talented group of players to be relegated from the Premier League. I don't buy the injuries argument at all. Decent managers can make the best out of a bad situation and still pick up points. Pardew didn't. He made tactical fuck up after tactical fuck up and tried to palm us off with shit excuses. I am praying that Ashley and that fucking prick Llambias do the right thing.
-
We haven't won an away game all season and don't look likely to and we've just been beaten at home by the worst team in the league - something our manager is 100% responsible for. Pardew will relegate us if we don't sack him.
-
Di Canio would be class but I don't think he has enough experience yet. Adkins or Di Matteo would be the obvious choices but I'd prefer someone with a bit more pedigree. Probably all pie in the sky because I doubt the sacking is even on the cards.
