  1. Anita is like a tailor - he threads everything together. Him, Cabaye and Sissoko in the middle looks to be a well balanced midfield to me - as currently we don't have a real box-to-box who can drive us forward on the ball like Sissoko can and that makes the gap between midfield and attack quite glaring, especially when bringing it out from defence. Often the onus to do that falls on Tiote and he just ends up making mistakes. They can all tackle and put a shift in too so you don't necessarily need a dedicated Tiote type destroyer in there for most games. That is a good midfield, I agree
  2. Deschamps won't ignore them, but he'll be concerned that some of his main players aren't playing champions league which every international manager will want his best players taking part in. personally though i think playing whole seasons in the Premiership (fingers crossed) will be of more benefit to them than staying in France and enjoying half a dozen CL games a season.

  4. Think Gouffran will prove to be a better signing than Remy tbh. Think Gouffran's a better fit mentally as he basically flattered to deceive for most his career when I used to watch Ligue 1 regularly a couple of years back but by all accounts in the past few seasons he's started to properly perform. Remy's a bigger talent but done poorly this season and, no offence to QPR, has made the wrong footballing choice moving there.
  5. Done some Dennis Wise scouting and he looks like a real talent to me - very raw though so a summer transfer might make more sense. Doesn't seem massively quick and his dribbling, while good, is a bit rough around the edges, but he plays with aggression, intensity and confidence in the little clip i saw. there's something almost old fashioned about how he plays in that he's purely direct unlike some of today's more polished but less imaginative players.
  6. Yanga-Mbiwa sounds really impressive. 'On the ball he is very confident. He has the ability to bring it out of defence and push forward with the look of a defensive midfielder - almost Patrick Vieira-esque.' . Just got to hope he's paired alongside Colo come the end of the transfer window. He's a lot like Colo from what i've seen, I think he'll be his long term replacement. Hopefully they get to play together for the rest of the season, though.
  7. I don't think Fergie coaches the skill out of his players, in fact most under his tutelage improve a great deal technically - albeit that technical ability is put to an ultra-efficient, practical use. So he definitely counts effectiveness over flair. He likes to buy players who can dribble and beat a player, but then harnesses that innate talent into more common, less flashy, but more impacting game moments like making a yard of space in central midfield to find a pass, or buying time on the ball in and around the penalty area. Basically his approach is to make his signings the most profess

    Alan Pardew

At the moment getting rid of Pardew is as important as bringing in a couple of first teamers. He has to go.
  9. A very good half by our standards this season. These are abysmal, we need to ram home our superiority. aye, criminal if we shut up shop in this position. a morale boosting big win is just what we need. Cisse's looked pretty sharp, on another day his chances would nestle in the back of the net. Off the ball he's defending the right flank well and when we attack he starts sitting just off Shola, worked well so far, with Debuchy basically acting as our right-winger - what a difference it makes having him there.
  10. Pretty relaxed about this one - pretty confident we're going to win. I'm not too pleased about Shola but with Pardew's pre-historic tactics it can be of benefit to us to have his presence up top - i'm just pleased that he seems to be out on the flanks and not through the middle. if Cisse's starts out wide my confidence levels for this match will plummet.

I blame the tobacco, man. That's why I never smoke joints/spliffs/doobies/tobacco, instantly makes me sick, especially when drunk. There's the odd occasion, but mostly. Tobacco ruins weed. HATE people that smoke joints, you're not even enjoying the herb for its taste. Wrong on all levels. I'm thinking the same thing, doesn't compare to smoking out of my water pipe. What type of pipe are you using? I need to re-invest. glass bubbler, bit like this one : http://www.alibongo.co.uk/catalog/hand-made-bubbler-pipe-lugworm-p-3979.html?oscsid=5f99154b0a6976d1a733ab5618578afc

properly whiteyed last night then had to walk 30 mins home in the snow. never a great idea to smoke a huge spliff when you're already drunk. quality's been excellent recently though the main problem is reliably getting your hands on good stuff on a regular basis. i was meant to buy last night and totally forgot, too. can't wait til we have US style dispensaries or coffeeshops in this country.
