  1. Phew... Man, that is so huge for us.
  2. This and McClaren's inability to make any pro active changes leaves me very worried.
  3. Yeah in both games Bulgaria played there. This guy was a legend when I was in primary school for his USA94 sticker. 50... not cool

Been away all evening, I hear about the news for the first time via the thread title and now I have tears of laughter from the last two pages. Savvywoman[emoji38]

The egg tossing and Siem... That can't have ended well.
  6. Was my first thought, and I suspect so.
  7. Agree, the design of the lion itself is very classy but as a badge like that it doesn't work well.
  8. The Ben Arfa shit is enough for a never forget, never forgive situation. But then you add all the rest on top.
  9. Meh, blocking stuff on the internet always works well and very smoothly.
  10. That kit was crazy baggy. Even for a time back then when it was more the style for shirts to be baggier.
  11. Decent hit by Cabella... But Kevin Trapp hardly glorious one again.
  12. Don't agree at all. Offside all day long. The argument is wether he was in line of Foster's vision. Pretty clear he was offside. also the linesman seemed to change his mind, as he did not flag at the time of the goal. He didn't "change his mind", he obviously realised Mitro's position, but would not have known whether to call it or not as the question whether he was in the way lied with the ref. Hence the discussion between the two. Typically a linesman wouldn't flag if the player in question didn't touch the ball or didn't motion towards it.
  13. Obviously, Ope meant that the ruling to call offside was a clear one. Which is correct.

    Moussa Sissoko

He pushes the team forward, and on the days when he does play well and is involved I'm still amazed at his energy levels. Running full pelt at people in the first minute, still running full pelt at others in the 89th. Yes he could be better or score more but I'm not too concerned about the lack of goals because his interplay with those around him is good and creates danger. Having Shelvey, Townsend, Gini... should hopefully mean potential threats coming from different areas and allow him more space.
  15. He was good at chatting shit, though.
  16. The last 5 minutes or ten minutes including the stoppage were pretty tense.
  17. Been reading this all over and it's not really true though as we have only won 4 out of 13. It's all relative though when talking about this team. "Homer" meaning not necessarily winning, but playing non horrifically bad like away
  18. If he keeps fit until the end of the season I'd say it's a no brainer Ahh, but exactly that's the classic Saylor trap.

As it stands, we have the best goal difference out of the bottom 4. Only just. Makes a change to previous seasons where we've been way behind. But yeah, that needs to remain.
  20. Can you make a substitution once time is up and before the shootout? I thought not, but don't know about the above.
  21. Well, there was a time it was quite the opposite. He only turned it on against the ManU or Chelsea.
  22. He was actively playing forward and pushing the team to go forward. Linked well with Shelvey for some interplay at times too. Putting you know who to shame.
  23. He's the record man. Record maaaaaaannn.
