I've heard plenty about 'Supermac' - like how once the alcohilism that took over his life and he was left penniless came back to the only place that was stupid enough to have him. Spending all his time in the working men's clubs, mooching free ales based on the past and sleeping in the living room of any fucker stupid enough to take him in. A bit like what he's doing on Century Radio right now really. And if you really blinkered enough think that Given had no alternative than to leave his beloved club in the way he did then you're clearly the one showing ignorance.

Well, he wasn't a servant he was an employee, and a very well paid one as well, spat his dummy out when Sir Bob was manager and threw in a transfer request and gave us short shrift when the Man City money was offered his way when we were in deep shit, using the upopular managment as the scapegoat for his greed and cowardliness. Ironic to see who you've got as your avatar - another one who 'loves the club and the city' but pissed off as fast as they could when a bigger pay check was offered thier way.

Supposed to be 30 seconds for goals and subs isn't it? Pity it had to be the cunt Owen that scored, but ManCity and Chelsea are one of the major things wrong with the game and would rather see these fake teams beaten and win fuck all if possible.

Too right. Cunts the three of them. One a mercenary cunt, one a cowardly cunt and one a whingey cunt.

Giggs!

Welsh Hunchback Cunt 2-2! Well, this has certainly livened up.

Fucking Hell, Bridge was shit there (again). Great shot of the exasperated ManCity coach there !

The way that he went around to get the move put all of the power that we had to get good money out the window. They knew that we had to sell him and took advantage. Given reallly is digging himself a hole with the fans, and that who powder-puff article, regarding honesty and grafting - what a load of old shit. He was a fucking coward who bailed on 'the club he loves' for a massive payrise when it really was down to the thin end of the wedge. What difference would four more months have made to his career. He was just the first rat to leave the sinking ship, just the biggest and sneakiest. This just makes me want to see ManUre hammer the fuck out of these lastest bunch of trumped up fakers.

I said we should have went for this guy

Not that optimistic, you don't even think we'll make the play offs. Ah, but it's cautious optimisim that with the current squad we won't be out of the reckoning but there or there abouts (to quote another thread ) when May comes around. Once we bring in a few on loan then my optimism may grow.
-
Going for a four at the minute - cautiously optimistic, but the small squad is still a worry.

Got to say I've not seen any of the highlights but this sounds very similar to what Harper did a few times last season, knocking the ball back into a dangerous position rather than batting it out of play. Work on it lad, you're number one here now! This result may just ground the players a bit, who (like a lot on here) think that this league will just present us with a victory every week as well as make the fat bastard realise that the squad DOES need some new faces brought in to compete in this league and sharpish.

Let's ask an expert.... http://instanttrap.com/trap.jpg Yes, you're right! :frantic: -
A bit of a wanker really - decides not to play for them for a year and then rubs it in thier face that he gets the money spinning move he was angling for.

Guthrie signed for us midway through July, this was an article printed two days before the tranfer deadline. very true, don't see what it has to do with what we are discussing but very true nonetheless. Just thought I'd have to correct an oversight as it had gone unchecked for a few hours and Dave wasn't logged in.

The only other thing that we can be happy about is that there are no more players out (that we know of yet). Stupid mistake though - the squad is nowhere near strong enough and now that another botched up window has shut under Ashley we can expect the inevitable injury crisis. Perhaps now we'll find out what has happened the the cash from the summer transfers, and also the money that was due from Milner and Given's sales. -

The transfer dealings last year were the biggest mistake, hoping that there would be three teams shitter than us while making a transfer market profit, and the daft fucker hasn't learned his lesson yet! -

It'll be fat cunt Ash jumping out , with his five-year plan to take us even further backwards when we're taken off the market again tonight. Are there any decent players out there on this forum cos you may be needed in a month or two. -

No way will anyone buy him injured, him pulling his hamstring was a blessing in disguise IMO. I forgot, because nobody has ever bought an injured player, or spent a huge sack of cash on them either. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/8186102.stm -

Three out (Butt, Collocini, Gutirezz) , one in (haven't a clue who it will be) on loan. We need one out (Butt) and around eight in in reality, but that has no chance of happening.
