For those of us who don't know, is 75 good/bad/average? Obviously it's not superstar levels. Pretty much bang average, also has no potential, being 29.
  2. The fuck does that frog eyed walrus know about running
  3. In the right spot at the right time to win the pen, was champion throughout the night everywhere. He must be over the moon. Must be an amazing feeling for a local lad and happy for him.
  4. Still cheap in today's prices, granted the league he's being bought from like, but £20m isn't that much these days, well except for us like. £20.5m is still a bit steep to be buying from the MLS, a league inferior to the PL. If it was £20m from a decent european league fair enough. He's clearly well above MLS standards though. At this point imo it's akin to a 20m gamble on an Eredivisie standout.
  5. He's hard working, tenacious, eye for a pass, like a slightly faster, younger and sexier Lee Cattermole in a way.
  6. Aye but the players around him were also 100 times better, relatively speaking the despondent feeling of seeing his name on the team sheet was very similar.
  7. Exactly, pretty much what I said above. it's a shit situation to even have to be in, dreading seeing one of your own players play.
  8. It's what experts refer to as "the Ameobi Conundrum" - is it ethical to slate a terrible player who gets selected through no fault of his own?
  9. daft foul by hayden at the top of the box

Imagine that, a player expecting to be paid while on loan
  11. Getting a player on loan from MLS would never be lived down
  12. Luuk de Jong is definitely the worst I’ve seen for us. Clearly just an awful few years in his career though. He couldn’t kick the ball The saga of both de Jong's time here is some of the most tragic/hilarious stuff
  13. Except they are. HMV have made a mistake in having too many DVD’s at £2 and not enough vinyl, games etc. HMV is very much savable if they focus less on DVD’s no one is interested in and focused more on music. Games sales are falling as more people are downloading. As long as Xbox keep charging £10-£20 more for downloads I and many others will keep buying actual physical copies. There's no way that can last like. Has to be some weird price locking deal with brick and mortars. No way it's cheaper to create and distribute physical copies of a game as opposed to just putting an image on a CDN.
