  1. How's that even possible compared to what we have now? I'm just saying that if you want to reduce fake injuries, stopping the clock is the logical solution instead of adding 10-15 minutes of added time to the 90 minutes (which results in longer games). If people are happy to spend their time watching Joelinton and Longstaff sit on the pitch, nothing needs to happen I guess.
  2. Thought it was obvious that it would be 2x30 minutes.
  3. Matches wouldn't take significantly longer to finish with a stopped clock.
  4. There's so many things to fix in football despite the popularity tho. The importance of penalties, handball rule and time-wasting just few on-pitch things to name.
  5. Is the public transport really that bad in the UK?
  6. There would be some momentum breaking 'injuries' but it would be nowhere near as bad as it is right now.
  7. 45 minute half is an instrumental part of football? And it appears to not be fine when they have to add some time to it.
  8. Please tell me one negative thing about stopping the clock?
  9. Upfront or installments doesn’t matter for FFP as far as I know.
  10. Still remember the moment we moved on from Robert and replaced him with Milner, I was absolutely furious.
  11. Villa were pretty lucky during their run, looking at expected points since January 1st Villa had 33.72 expected points but finished with 43. Brighton had 44.35 expected but finished with 38. Villa will probably have a better summer than Brighton though but feel like people are overrating Villa a bit after the massive run.
  12. Yeah but it's close on the pitch. We were 27 points ahead of Chelsea last season, that's a lot despite them being a bit better than their results indicated. Obviously a freak season, Poch is good and no Europe but that's still a massive gap.

    Tino Livramento

Yeah, I don't see him going back when James is there.
  14. I don't see Arsenal dropping off, they've had a good summer and the young squad is a year older. Also no way Man Utd can challenge Man City IMO, they were sixth last season in expected points way behind both us and Brighton and don't think their signings are that transformative. If I would have to rank the teams right now it would be something like this: Tier 1: Man City Tier 2: Arsenal, Liverpool Tier 3: Man Utd, Newcastle, Chelsea Tier 4: Spurs, Brighton, Villa Question marks on Liverpool too, lot of new midfielders and they haven't addressed their defense at all but I'm a bit terrified about their front line and they could score loads.
  15. He can love the city and the club and still demand a fair pay for his services, it's his job. We are underpaying many of our core players, hope we can manage it well without any unnecessary drama in the following years. Glad Howe appears to be really good at stuff like this but it's almost inevitable that at some point we will have problems related to the wage structure.
  16. Yeah, same and Osimhen to Chelsea
  17. Bayern are second favourites to win the UCL right now, way behind Man City though.
  18. Shut your dirty fucking mouth.
  19. I'm not a huge fan but the disrespect to Bayern and Bundesliga is a bit arrogant.
  20. 3 against Finland, 2 against Kazakstan and 1 against Slovenia
  21. Why is he a knock off or poundland Haaland? Fee is too big but 9 goals in ~1800 minutes in Serie A during his first season is decent, also 6 in 6 for Denmark.
  22. I don't see it like that, think he would've been one of the last of the old players to go in that scenario.
