  1. I have not seen Beckford play more than once, however, it seems reading posts on here that he needs chances. Having seen most of our games this season, we are definately NOT the right side for someone that needs this many chances. We have been winning by the odd goal or two and in some games, with few chances, with others alot more. Now, if the chances are not falling to him - or Ameobi for example, who is going to score? Ameobi (assuming he plays alongside Beckford) and Beckford would need about 10 chances in a game to score 1-2 goals. On the balance of this, I cannot seeing him making that much of a difference. With 4 strikers on the books already, all of which have scored goals this season, I think we need to address the service. A creative midfielder and someone on the right would be the areas I would spend - not on a striker. We also need to hope that the manager will realise we need to keep Guthrie in the side and in the MIDDLE - assuming we get no one else, not Nolan and Smith/Butt
  2. Aside the stupid thread title, I think we are more likely to be active in this window, if possible - than others under the Ashley reign. We are top with a very good chance of promotion, a little money spent now could go along way and give excellent returns, if back in the premiership. Ashley might be stupid but surely he can see that??
  3. The way other results are going, we really need to win this to maintain the gap and pressure on others.
  4. Is there any reason why Hughton isnt trying to play a consistent starting 11 or is he trying to be some kind of tactical super-genius by chopping and changing ? Its a long season perhaps, it also keeps players on their toes. Could have preferred to see Guthrie in for Nolan, then again he keeps on scoring, which IMO is the only reason he is keeping his place at the moment.
  5. 50K a week can be far better spent to try and get some young, decent creativity into the team - not being wasted on a injury prone waste of space crook. If we can, off loads.
  6. Seeing Enrique getting better and better each week has got me thinking, is he the most improved player (since joining the club) we have seen on our books over the years? For someone who did not have easiest of starts, he is starting to look like a real find and someone who showed signs of potential and is now realising their potential too.
  7. Agree with all of that except the full of promise bit. If he was that good Manu would have him on a longer contract without doubt and would definately be trying to keep him given the mess they are in at the back. Still say we go for him but not expecting him to progress to the standard Enrique.
  8. No real issues with the team, we should have enough to beat them. Its good to mix it up a little - keep people on their feet a little and the squad fresh. Come on lads, lets get a party going this afternoon.
  9. Dont be doing the half way splirt stuff...Dec means nothing. however, splurt off.
  10. CUNT 111 pages per goal Hardly prolific is it?????????
  11. If you look at my posts on the 30th/31st August, you'll find I was scared we'd go down. We've been brilliant (relative to expectations) this season and it's been fun to watch. The fact that we're able to feel 'aggrieved' at losing to Newcastle away is laughable, seeing as we lost Priskin, T. Smith, M. Williamson, L. Williamson, Jack Cork and Brendan Rodgers over the summer, seemingly replacing them inadequately. For me, this season is going swimmingly and wonderfully. We're challenging for a play-off spot/sitting comfortable in mid-table, with a young side playing attractive football. How can I complain? "fuck that shit fuck that shit fuck that fucking shit lucky fucking bastards fuck you fuck decky fuck your shit".
  12. The best part IMO is that Nolan gets a well deserved rest before the Christmas games
