I could not care about an announcement, just hope they are in place and now concentrating on adding to the playing staff and sorting out the current rubble.

The likes of him, Vuckic, Ferguson and Bigi have all been grossly mismanaged and coached over the last 4 years. I am not suggesting they were, are or could be decent premiership players but they have never been given the right development IMO, let along opportunities. Even if the player is in there, it is going to take the new coaching team a while to get the confidence and game craft into them for this level. If they can with one or two then it confirms everything we know and thought about Pardew et al.

Looking forward to the usual first day back training pictures with no new faces to show for it (the Forest boys don't count).

Especially as Pardew spent the best part of 18 months openly trying to flog him.

They are encouraging, what is not, is the clubs complete disregard for the reasons behind this and so far, doing nothing about it!

Are Ashley or Charnley every going to realise the simple equation of Investment + Ambition = happy fans (and more season tickets sold)? A decisive couple of weeks in the transfer market would be a start and people might just start snapping up the tickets/getting behind the whole "new era". Our completely sluggish approach this close season is making Ashley's final words of the season look as empty as ever and any pre-season momentum as a result of a new management team (at last) will surely be lost, if has not been already. Hardly giving the new coaches much time before a hard start to the season. That said, I appreciate they will want to look at what they have got but look at the facts - we have conceded more than most the last couple of season, created nothing and scored too few goals. Do the maths FFS.

Seems a bit of coincidence to end up with a really highly-rated young coach mind. Possibly but lots of evidence over the last 8 years to suggest otherwise!

More of a case of who would cost the club nothing (or little to nothing) and is available IMO.

I think in most cases it would mean fuck all but probably not with Austin as he clearly hold Shearer in a very positive light! Otherwise, I agree! All they care about is money and if they are any good, winning things in a top team (with even more money). History, shirt numbers and former players mean far less now in the sky fuelled greed years.

Almost a month since the last game of the season. All he has managed to do is sack two unemployable coaches, hire another and release a couple of players (through the sacked unemployable coach)... Not bad Lee, not bad at all! We really should be making headway on the players now FFS. We should have a good idea of what our squad will look like in the next couple of weeks IMO so pre-season can have maximum benefit. At this rate, they will be arriving at the end of August when we are in the bottom three again! Pull your baldy fat head out of your arse and get on with it.

I really think Gouffran's form was affected by Cabaye leaving Pardew. I can't remember how he and Cabaye linked up on the pitch but he has certainly been poor since that January when Pardew made him a defensive left winger to support the left back.

Thauvin and Matip would be a good start, although not sure on the end product of Tahuvin TBH. Either way, seriously doubt either will happen.

Definitely some nice football in those clips. They seem to press a lot higher with more players than we ever did under Pardew! Not sure we have the players but lets see I guess.
