No way should he be captain. Think without the arm band and a different manager he could just about do a job as a player. As captain though under Pardew, he is terrible and goes against ever notion of what a good captain should do/be. Taylor, Williamson and Coloccini = most of the defense that got us relegated the first time - they are still our defense 5 years later! Unbelievable really.

There really is no reason or excuse to keep Pardew another day. The wheels have well and truly fallen off, it is plain to see. He is a dead man walking and for all concerned they should come to an agreement and leave now before it is too late.
