Great buy this one - think he has great potential. Amazing to think we have him and Santon pushing for LB, think it will drive them both to being better players. I would have no worries about him starting in the prem after keeping Eto pretty quite.

Think he will get on the pitch tonight. IMO these are the games to bring on a player like this, especially given the injuries we have. There is no pressure on him as a result and if anything, that should just allow him to do his thing. If he scores a goal, that really puts him on a new level of confidence. I would not hesitate personally.

Really see no need in rushing him back. 3 wins in last 4 league games and two massive Europa ties coming up. If he is not 100% ready, do not play him at all, even for 10 minutes. He will not be properly warmed up and it only takes a tired challenge at the end of the game to set him back. Would rather not see him for a game or two and make sure he can play the last 8-9 league games a full speed, for 90 minutes. Personally I would keep him back until Stoke and the return Anzhi match, they are more important.

Schmeichel'esque throw that was, its something I always wonder about, it worked so well for Man Ure time & time again Schmeichel launching the ball up field as soon as he has possession of it. Makes counter attack football so much easier if your keeper can throw a ball that far with accuracy. Completely agree about it improving counter attacks. Think Krul spent too long watching Harper in traning - he takes ages to get rid of the ball. Tim could learn a thing or two from Elliot for sure.
