Think we will win this. November on paper looks good for us, lets hope thats the case. We can qualify for next stage in Euro's and get ourselves closer to the top 6 with the games we have coming up. Have a look then and go for a couple of players in Jan if required.

Fucking bored of Pardew at the moment. Why can't we be a bit more positive and relax a bit. Score and we just seem to stop playing. He said you can judge where a team is after 10 games, well we are nearly there now. When he watches back over the 10 games...... Plus side is, we are picking up points, have played some tough games, should qualify for next stage of Europa all playing well below par. Hopefully just a slow start aka Everton (usually) and we really pick up soon.... One can hope!!!!

Totally agree with this.

Tough game this but they do play open football which, if we start aggressively, we should be able to exploit them. Think it has the makings of the best home game so far this season.

I think your team, with the exception on Anita is spot on. I dont think he has done enough yet, on paper or not, to warrant that role. Perch on current form and standing, would take that place for me (for now).

Have said it before, but he is definately the most improved player we have over the last 2 seasons. Impressive and clearly someone that matures with age, much like a good wine. At 27 and relatively new this role, he should have a few years left in him yet. Sign him up.

After Colo (and I thought Ba was very good) he was our best player. Keep it up Yohan.

A major reason why I seriously doubt a "big" team coming in for him any time soon. He would be deemed to much of a liability with Manu/Arsenal etc IMO

At least we started well today, first time this season. Shame we could not get another before Tiote got sent off.

Saw it 20+ times on replay. Yellow at most. No intent. To be fair, sky showed the ref's view and in real time it looks worse, especially as Fletcher fakes death. Lino is to blame - did nothing or said nothing and he had the perfect view. Not defending the ref, he was totally inconsistent, towards us anyway.

Can't wait for this now. Hopefully our season is off and running come Sunday afternoon.

We have been saying this or 7 games tbf, derby or no derby! I suspect nothing will change until Pardew gets some balls and changes things a bit. 7 games and its not working. It's not all about the players.
