Pardew is a liar.
-
Pardews latest quotes seem fair enough and seems he still see's the door as open. Reading between the lines that he does not agree on the decision to put him on a free? Clearly he also thinks what JB did was wrong. Who knows how this will unfold. Would not be suprised if an internal apology by JB was made and he features on Saturday.

He simply has to get in the 1-2 players we are "working on" and now 2 additional players to replace the obvious, if not he is as weak as piss or should walk for the very reasons it is compromising him as a manager. As the squad stands it is certainly alot weaker than it was at the end of the season. If he has any pride as a manager, he would simply walk if the club are not providing the tools he needs to do his job. If not, he is the puppet so many refer to him to.

Willie McKay quotes.. "We have been inundated with interest," Next breath "If Newcastle change their mind, I'm happy to meet Mike and Derek with Joey because Joey loves it up there." As if thats going to happen! Agents really are worse than footballers. Inundated? Dont think so.

I wish the club could be this decisive when buying players. Quick to make decisions on the ones going out however. Muppets

Probably got a right bollocking about his twats and then said, fuck this, just agree to terminate my contract now and I will expect no further money from you. Hence bringing forward his departure by 12 months. The only scenario I can envisage. Either that or humble pie and an apology (unlikely).

Sure his form in front of goal will improve. He has been out for ages after all.

In a word, NO and thanks!

Back to the topic, anyone heard anything new on this?

To me its not the fact we not spending, its more the broken promises. I actually agree with the clubs stance on trying to bring the financial elements under control, reduce debt and rebuild slowly. We were only heading one way before - administration. We could not have carried on like that, for those that think we could are blind to the truth. However, this regime breaks its promises, or more to the point AP does. This is the biggest source of frustration. If they would just be straight about their intentions and communicate with the fans, all this resentment would not exist. If, as they say they will keep the money in the club, fair enough - I suspect they wont however.
-
That said, keeping him is a good reason not to spend any further money on players!!

Agree to pay half his wages and get shot.

The reason why we sold Nolan had little to do with him being happy or not. NUFC was sensible and didn't want to give him a 5 year contract, but West Ham did. His fitness is questionable and will be even more so as he gets older. The same goes for Barton too. Neither SAF or Wenger hand out lengthy contracts to players in that age group, and nobody is branding them as idiot for following that policy. With todays salaries, it's the sensible option imo. Having two aging, expensive permacrocks (worst case scenario) on the bench that no other clubs want, is not good for the club. It's this scenario we're now experiencing with Smith. He's cashing in, and we cannot reinforce the squad without him leaving. But nobody is interested in him.

Think he would add what Bellamy did to our game. Him running onto HBA and Cabeye balls could be immense. Hope we can get this one over the line.

Going to bed, good night all.

How the fuck this is preparation for the Arsenal game, I dont know. The only reason this will get us off our seats is to leave!

My comments are not appearing in chat? Banned already?

With a bit of luck, Tioete will get confussed and take Smith out, permanently.

Can someone please direct me in the general direction of where ever you are currently reading this stuff? Thanks
