Kna will be Nile---Bart---Guth---Jonas ------Loven---Shola Yup, Ranger is pretty decent on the right to be fair.

Delighted for him that he has pulled in more points than Liverpool since his appointment. /Would be less than delighted if they finish above us mind.

the fact that they always feed us with this type of bullshit to avoid spending (much) money aside, HE IS A FUCKING NEW SIGNING In the press conference it wasn't Pardew that said he was like a new signing, a journo asked him whether he was. Pardew smiled at the line, but pretty much couldn't help but agree iirc.

Hope Pardews call to war stops us rolling over for this one, but yeah, my gut still says a two goal difference at best here; 2-0, or 3-1.

Fair enough, bit of sugar and salt there though as in a nice last bit to that piece he is basically putting the pressure back on that if we don't continue to invest past balls will be seen as shrivelling sharply. Loved this bit of the Sunderland story: “A win Sunday and we won’t go down, 100%,” he said. “But we’re not just going to turn up at Villa and be OK. We’ve got to go to war again – and every week between now and the end of the season we’ll go to war. “What I’m looking at is if we win on Sunday, suddenly we have Man United at home after an FA Cup semi-final and we can really, really tear into them with a bit of freedom. “I think if we win the most disappointed man with our result will be Sir Alex – I hope he chokes on his tea a little bit if we win on Sunday!” Fuck yeah! Love the idea that if we dispatch Villa, we might be able to enjoy ourselves against ManU and cause them problems.

If you could beat only one of these teams who would it be?

LIVERPOOL. -
Even without Tiote and to be fair, Barton. That is a queue of the type of quality and likeable players I might have struggled to believe I'd see at the club together. Fair fucking play to that.

"IF Andy Carroll had any doubts he was stepping up a level when he swapped the home-town comforts of Newcastle for the pressure cooker of Merseyside, they will have been pretty quickly erased." - Daily Post -
Love your optimism, but I'm not sure exciting is how I'd describe any transfer window. Hopefully there'll be more highs than lows, but stressfull anticipation seems to make up 99% of the bloody things.

Good to see some challenging him on TT, asking for an apology from him as well. What complete sad sack that lad is.

My arse.

Her bosses are going to need quite a bit of rubbing with all kinds of soothing embrocation if she oversees the bubble blowers drop down to the fizzy pop this season.

Welcome to last week.

It now looks somewhat like some arse wearing a tank top and a tie over a white t-shirt.

Harper. Sherler. Saylor. Raylor.

Jonas looked like he was in trouble with his ma for half the interview. Good to see the smiles at the end though.

Er, no. Whether the people who work with him day in day out and who might have a better understanding of his previous form choose to buy him or not; Having him here to assess his ability to get on with, and add to the squad, for fuck all outlay, is still a very positive thing in my humble opinion.
-
There's no need to play him as long as we keep the PL-spot. And we're not paying Villa before he plays. The best thing is that we will be able to buy him for much lower price. So I don't see any problem. You would buy him? Why not? Even if he doesn't play a single game, we'll have had 5 months to run the rule over him in training and check whether he has the right mentality to work well with the players we have. If we end up buying him, we'll have a much better idea of what we're getting and all without having to pay for the priviledge.

Doesn't that actually back up my version - ie Milner thought he deserved a rise, not Milner was promised a rise? Quite. Milner felt he should get a new contract based on his development over the year and worth to the club (from his point of view, a not unreasonable request), but there is no indication of these broken promises people are banging on about whatsoever.
