  1. Come on, The £200 mill is just his famous dry sense of humour, no? As for Europe, it is there second season in the top flight. Gutless? Sensible I would say, as without substantial strengthening of a determined and admittedly well organised side, they are not that far removed from Championship quality. They have plenty to be scared about.
  2. It was Liverpool who contributed, hunchback only suggested where the money he never had or was not going to get should go. Fairplay to him if he has given money to the Wrexham cause with money he has. Fair enough, either way, good to see them giving something back just as Baggio rightly stated regarding Bramble and Dyer. Hasn''t Shearer and some other old boys given some support to the boys club as well?
  3. When you say support, very few of them actually do anything financially, even matchday tickets like the rest of us. Was quite impressed to see Bellamy's contribution towards Wrexham recently though. Fair play to the lad.
  4. The Anti-Shearer!!! Double agent tbf.
  5. Oh for fucks sake. Come on people.
  6. Agreed, there are all sorts of factors that might put a damper on any speculation that Allardyce is a shoe-in, as I pointed out in the 'get inside freddy's head' thread. Huzzah!
  7. Talking of fighting talk. There has been absolutely sod all from Roeder today, and Alain Olivier has been quiet as a mouse. Is something stirring? ... and what exactly is the opposite of ominous? /random mode *off*
  8. Yeah, seriously lads. How could it possibly matter if Roeder has lost the dressing-room?
  9. And risk his job/position at the club. Top thinking batman. Like he did when he told a blabbermouth like you boy wonder? The papers protect their sources. As he is trying to do, no?
  10. Well it sounded perfectly credible to me, if that's any comfort to you. Roeder is a dog's cock. Christ, now people are having a go at dogs cocks ffs.
  11. If any fucker decides to applaud a lap of honour (if they dare try one) I think I might explode. It was bad enough when Souness stood like a cock in the center circle and the majority clapped the fucker after walking out the season before with Bobby.
  12. The point is that whether true or not, it's sad that it wouldn't be surprising.
  13. It is pointless trying to second guess Shepherd. I'm glad you are now entertaining the possibility that Roeder might not be worth persisting with, but I think that that is the only thing most of us can dare to agree on. Yes, Sam is an option, but I have no idea of the availibility of his backroom staff, the extent of the shadow of that bung probe, his personal reasons for his departure, the £5 million compo deal Gartside is banging on about, or any number of things. So to idly speculate that he is A) available, and B) our best option, when we know so little is a tad difficult. If Shepherd also agrees that (unlike Roeder) good managers make it difficult to sack them and that there is no point persisting with people for the sake of stability, then hopefully he will be finding out all these things, entertaining other possible candidates, and making a clear headed and informed decision. Not that I have much faith in him to do that, but he is the only one who can. Sorry I'm not being more helpful. Hate mornings, especially after games like that.
  14. Fuck knows what the fat man is thinking but I hope he can look beyond just two options. There are other managers than Alladyce out there and a thousand other scenarios.
  15. Thanks for that Glenn. Thank fuck that's sorted then... I suddenly feel so very calm.......
  16. I hate Shepherd and Anal for accomodating the tossbags and insiting Roeder was the fans choice. Utter.. utter..... utter........ Bastards. Condescending, betting syndicate bollocks spouting, bastards at that. Speak for me do you? Fuck off you utterly inept and infuriating cocking parasitic jam sacks. /venting

  18. Easy reason to have a bite, but you contrast that with Billy Davies yesterday. His side played ABSOLUTELY DIABOLICALLY SHITE, much like ours did, and yet he spent ATLEAST five minutes, going over to the supporters (who'd been fucking awesome all afternoon, like ours, we outsung them tbh) - and applauding them till he was pink in the face. Like i say, easy thing to have a go at, but these things count. I thought he could have at least shown them some thanks for travelling down on a Monday night to witness that surrender. I know, i'm agreeing with you. I know, i'm agreeing with you. I agree with both of you.
  19. No. Get the best that we can possibly get in. I don't think I could stand another reactionary appointment. Allardyce is an option but without much of his backroom staff available who knows how he would cope. There are plenty of other managers that we could and should be also sounding out.
  20. He was never leaving anyway, was he? With all of the other signings we apparently will need to be making, finding a secondary right-back does not need to be added to that list. Roeder obviously loves him, as well. I'm not sure if "want" is the right word, I don't think we have any choice in the matter. We don't have any choice in almost any matter that is club business tbf. Nevertheless I wan't shot of Carr and Baba. If it is beyond Roeder to replace them, or if he has any amount of faith in them helping the club move forward, then that would be pretty disappointing in my eyes.
  21. Taking transfer fees out of the equation, both.
  22. I hope he was kidding. Difficult to tell sometimes. Oh come on.
