  1. Come on you feckers, 3 mins.
  2. Yeah, he's annoying me too, nearly put Cobain(?) through there though tbf.

Negative fuck. Fuck off. /Carver, not nemtizz obvs
  4. Cabs dropped for the Gouf? Williamson and Dummit in the center, together? Teams pls.
  5. Is it fuck. It's not suicide but there are definitely better options. We're a decent stepping stone. We're the stepping stone to the stars man. Even weirdos like M'biwa and Santon get dream moves to Italy. To be fair, I reckon he'd have a damn sight more chance with us than Tottenham. They seem to chew up and spit out young midfielders with alarming regularity.
  6. I get offered free tickets for almost every game now. People with ST's just can't even be arsed to go anymore. My dads just got out his seat with a groan, "Well, I'm going to have to go over there and watch bloody Stoke". Tell him its a proper 6 pointer in the fight for tenth spot. Should get the juices flowing.
  7. I'd happily have Carver over Redknapp. For some reason I've got it into my head that he's the ruin of talent, as mercenary as his players, a lacking in class bullshit merchant, blame dodging, saggy chopped inarticulate miserable mess of a man who gets a nosebleed north of Hull, with a big fucking chip on his shoulder the size of England.
  8. As 'Pards' would no doubt point out, Spurs actually have a decent squad.

Got a perm when he played for us and the top fell out. Waddle loved the look and the rest is, fairly dull, history. Came across well enough, hope he does al'reet, but he's about as far away as you can get from the revolutionary we might have hoped for.
  10. I wonder when we will be allowed to challenge for the cups in the 'model'. No idea. We made two Quarter finals two years running though. When? 2013 - Quarter final v Benfica 2014 - Quarter final v Spurs Two seasons apart. Hence why I said two years running. Fair enough (let's discount the fact that we didn't really want to be in either as well). Could you hazard a guess as to when we will be safe enough from the prospect of relegation to the relegate the cups to an afterthought? Don't know. Just thought I'd hoy that fact in there for the sake of debate. Do you agree with the 'model' we are using now? Nobody really knows what model we're using now - if there is a model at all. We all interpret what the club says in our own way. We all read between the lines differently. Clubs says winning a cup isn't a priority. You might think that means we don't want to win a cup at all. I might think it means we'd rather concentrate on a decent (whatever decent means for us) league position, and then see what comes our way cups wise. Like, I'd like to buy as an Aston Martin - but it's not a priority. Truth is I have no idea what "model" the club is using. I don't think anyone does really bar Ashley. Can't deny that the excitement and enthusiasm has been sucked out of the fans, though. Players, managers and chairmen come and go. We'll have our time to shine again.
  11. I wonder when we will be allowed to challenge for the cups in the 'model'. As soon as someone wins one and doesn't automatically get relegated.
  12. Peter Beardsley has seen him for the reserves a few times and already knows he's shit. “I have to say he's been excellent for us,” said Beardsley. “He hasn’t played many games for us, but he’s been outstanding. “He was involved in Arma’s first goal, and I just look at the things he does for the team and his attitude is incredible. “One day, hopefully, he’ll be a top player for us. “His attitude is spot on – he’s brilliant around the training ground – and really, I couldn’t praise him enough.” http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/incredible-facundo-ferreyra-can-seize-his-newcastle-chance-1-6935946 A while ago mind.
  13. I still entertain the possibility of good times. Lets see what route they take with the head coach position, but if we continue to bring in decent quality and the odd top player then the football on offer can be positive and if that means winning games, some sort of success is always potentially just a season away. I don't see him letting the club fail financially, so whether under him or others, the springboard to move on remains even if the willingness isn't. I also take small positives from our player recruitment. If we were so determined just to tread water and stay in the safety zone of 8th to 14th why do we flirt with the danger of not replacing players sold with solid if dull Premier cloggers, instead fucking around waiting for rated foreigners, or dropping 12m on a risk like Cabella. To me, even if it was purely based around generating future sales (which we seem to be pretty shit at tbh), it adds some interest and the chance to see the odd gem on the pitch. If Carver gets the gig or the next guy also hasn't the balls to persuade them to not negatively fuck with the team halfway through the season and have some flexibility in bringing targets in early if required, it'll be a struggle for anyone to get behind the project again, but I think it can work. #teamdelusion
  14. Impossible to answer. You've stopped supporting a club that means a great deal to most on here and while we can say why it's important to us (family, history, socially, whatever; Oh, and however disappointing the incumbent custodians, remains an important showcase for the city outside the region), I don't imagine it'll help. Hope you find some pride in the club again some day soon and help make it great again, it certainly seems to be hitting a low point for many at the moment.
  15. Shit's hotting up. Level tepid achieved. Lukewarm approaching!
  16. ... and yet the people who walk away have effectively given up their voice in the stands which is arguably the most potent route to force change at the club. Hasn't seemed to work with Ashley (not helped by the fact that most fans hurl abuse at anyone who protests). It's not just about that though, I wouldn't feel right handing over any money to the club until we start behaving like a sports team. I'd say the few occasions the vitriol flowed from the stands made a big difference to Pardews outlook on his future, and played a large part in his decision to jump ship. It might be suggested that as more of the vocal few walk away, the chance of applying such pressure on individuals/the club in the future also diminishes which might be a shame. Honestly can't fault people that do walk way mind. Fuckers have knocked the stuffing out of the support for the most part and I'm not naturally inclined to get militant myself either tbf.

  18. If in the morning he remains, by the first Autumn frost, Sissoko will be lost.
  19. Do you want to be a Hull/QPR or a Swansea/Southampton? /Chrnaz

We all want to harbour an ever deepening love for you as the proud pilot of the good ship NUFC, even Mick.... But you're making it um... tricky.
  21. Another case of high hopes, sapped. Fare well, sweet prince.
