David James Graham @DavidJG80 7m KINNEAR HAS DONE IT! He's made par on the 8th hole at Matfen Hall! #timewellspent #nufc @NUFCOfficial Who's that? Smells like bullshit if Matfen hasn't upped sticks and moved to Manchester.

Totally. -
Ahhh, Andy... yer my beeeesht mate! Nom nom nom....

Maybe, but when you almost go into games expecting some idiocy from the players, that for me is also a clear reflection of the manager and his coaching staffs mentality.
-
As decent as he looked at Swansea, wouldn't it be better if we had a left footed player on the LW? Yes. That would be nice.
-
We did get £10 million for Bassong, the Enrique fee is the only one that looks out to me from going through the full list. Don't believe it, if we're going off of figures in the press, the majority said £8m. Anyway, the point's moot because we have no real idea, much like the article which is basically made up shit. All that matters is is the current state of the squad, and if we have made a profit, what that remaining money is spent on or whether it has left the club.
-
Has to be something already agreed if you're whacking another £30m on Willian I'd have thought. Or have you got the money for these guys anyway?
-
Also, it would be at least fairly useful if I could trust the numbers they do have, but considering most transfer fees etc are never released, much of it is guess work. And if I were guessing, I'd say there is no chance we got £18 million for Enrique and Bassong.

Agree. Been having to defend him against my brothers whining almost every game but coming to the realisation now that maybe at least this part of his game is not quite what I thought it was.

I'm not questioning the legality of what he's doing, but from a ethical and moral point of view it's reprehensible. Paying off club debt at a similar rate to that which we'd only be servicing the interest on them if they were from banks is reprehensible? Really? I'd f***ing love for the cash to be splashed on signings. As a supporter, the team we end up with is the most important thing, but as long as we have a decent side at the end of the window, him clearing some of the debt doesn't seem that ethically reprehensible or morally bankrupt in the scheme of things. You're twisting my words sir. If his intention is to pay off the debt and neglect the squad in process I feel that he should inform the fans and not pull the wool over our eyes by having his cronies say we are going to buy 3 strikers etc. He hasn't promised us anything in terms of players, but I think we can all agree that if we exit the window another man down and pretty much sod all in then Kinnear, and even more so Ashley, will deserve a good kicking. Whether we are paying off debt or not at that point doesn't really matter. -

This would be the perfect scenario for me (bar him staying). Arsenal keep submitting bids. We've already sold him overseas for silly money. -

Expect? No certainly not. Fat Mike has succeeded in lowering my expectations so much I don't. I'd love to know where the money does go though. Doesn't take much to find out. £1 iirc. I've seen the accounts but that's not the point I'm making. My question was meant to be more along the lines of why don't we have anything to spend this summer? We'll never know of course, If the club came out and said we aren't buying anyone this summer season ticket sales would plummet. Eh? Surely the accounts will give a fair indication whether we actually had decent wedge to spend this summer when they come out? If not, then they'll show the money must have instead gone to pay off debt, wages, or something else. It doesn't just disappear. -
Don't like Nolan or Barton too much as players but they provided something we simply don't have within this group and it shows when we go behind. Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, Spurs etc don't need Nolan and Barton and neither do we. If we want British players to provide some grit then I'd far rather we targeted the likes of McCarthy or Sinclair. What does this even mean? Every team needs natural leaders in the side. I can't think of one in ours. Grit. Not one? Cabaye, Yanga Mbiwa, Sissoko, all previous and successful club captains. Hell, even Taylor for all his idiocy was a long standing leader of the U21s.

More like £20m. Still, we need to spend now before anything may or may not come from Cabaye. /Oh, and minus Ba money too. -
Whey, thinking about it, if he's not a Newcastle supporter, he won't get cheap tickets. Am I reading that right?
-
3 whats in what by Saturday though? 3 cats in hats? 3 dicks in chicks?
-
Ashley's gone too far this time! Nah, really decent idea that.
-
Anita & Cisse. And Bigi. And Good, and Satka, and Mbabu, and Santon, and Miele etc etc if we're talking youngsters. In terms of strong links, Douglas, Pieters, and Luuk De Jong were all Dutch based. Wolfswinkel, though Dutch, was playing in Portugal too.

I'm not sure he'll be going if that is the case. -
After last nights bombshell, there is a sum total of sod all coming out today. Frustrating.
-
Hope Powell sacked! On a free, could be an option for Ashley.

Disappointed that your use of a cute name for him wasn't a display of deeper feelings. Your. Damnit! Give me a chance to check and edit.
