  1. --------------Barton--------------- Milner----------------------Zoggy ---Owen---Viduka----Martins--
  2. We only have SSN's word that were paying him £70k, a figure has never come from the club, and i doubt anyone would tell them just for the sake of it. WHU are in the game to make it know how much they are willing to pay a palyer even before they've put an offer in, it gets the player thinking, they did it with Upson & Neill, and have done the same with Parker, Johnson and no doubt Barton as well, and i'm sure but not 100% positive a £70k figure was mentioned with Parker & Barton, if so, SSN's are putting 2 + 2 together and matching WHU's money as why would he take less? Maybe that's what we've done, or maybe we haven't and thats what he went away to think about, but decided the extra £20k a week wasn't an issue in the end, his career was more important, and under SA with NUFC he felt that was the better option. So no confirmed figure, i'd be upset if it was that much, especially since he could be going to prison, but we'll just have to wait and see, we might be told at some stage the ins and outs of the deal, but i doubt we'll get a stone cold answer on the wages front.
  3. Bloody hell. (Am i gonna be whooshed?) Not really. I know it's only messing around and to be expected on a football forum but it annoys me that just about every single female member on this forum is focused on as soon as they make a post, generally not so much for what they have to say, but for the fact that they're, well, female. I'm sure the majority don't mind but I reckon it puts some females off posting here. More to do with the % of female population which likes football, supports NUFC, with the ability to go online and the will to post, has enough football knowledge to hold their own, and would be bothered to do all that and then to put up with your point. Fair play to our female posters, but in reality its nothing to do with sex mad teenagers jumping on the 1st smell of forum pussy.
  4. WHU fans think they pulled out of the deal, he'll go to prison, SA offered him something 'special', that he chose more money over them and its his loss! mackems.gif
  5. A good £15k a week more, and Parker was well overpaid. (Allegedly) I think its a scandalous wage, however that blow is softened with the fact he didn't even bother speaking to WHU, good lad.
  6. Fuking hell. Bumped to death with those wages. I'd rather the deal fall through now.
  7. Don't tell me that's how much were paying him? Where did that figure come from?
  8. Nothing that hasn't been said over and over by most sensible posters on this board.
  9. Of course, he's not wanted by the management or the fans.
  10. Scout report by Mac Dermott mind. Couldn't be assed to get a decent scout Look what happened in my game! http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=33987.msg860828#msg860828
  11. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=470427&CPID=24&clid=427&lid=2&title=Magpies+tacking+Ebondo Newcastle are among the suitors of Toulouse defender Albin Ebondo, according to France Football. The right-back has a new three-year deal on the table at Stadium Municipal but may consider moving on to pastures new. Ebondo has yet to make a decision on his future, however, if he does decide to leave a number of clubs will chase the 23-year-old's signature. As well as Newcastle, Ligue 1 duo Paris Saint Germain and Bordeaux are likely to be in the running for Ebondo. Meanwhile, Auxerre attacker Kanga Akale has emerged as a target for Toulouse. According to L'Equipe, Les Violets have already proposed a four-year deal to the Ivory Coast international and are now readying an offer of €4million (£2.7million). The likes of Lyon, Marseille and Atletico Madrid have previously been credited with an interest in Akale.
  12. TBF, they always do with NUFC, more than any other club. Craid David must live in Newcastle or something.
  13. We we warned by them not to go! Fuking muppets, honestly i really hope Sheff Utd take em down.
  14. Probably, but Bartons agent said to the sky reporter there finalising a 5 year deal while Barton goes for his medical. I'd say its nailed on.
  15. Will just link it again so people don't have to go back: http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=88492&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=120&sid=40eb81dfd4689174a0d02f2d12ea22e8
  16. Nice one Stevie mackems.gif Especially "The biggest and most accurate insult I can bestow on them is they're a very very poor mans Tottenham, and truly that is an insult. "
  17. old news 1 second old! Would that mean he wouldn't be going down to West Ham tomorrow? Sounds like he hasn't even considered them. Would be very strange for him to have a medical then go for talks with the hammers tommorow. Although anything can happen in football, i think its safe to say he will be at SJP next year. If he's not even going to bother talking to them then i think its an even better signing for us. Obviously he wants to play for us and feels this is the place to be, as for WHU, can't even get the Parker deal even with a 40% pay rise!
  18. That is funny, they are quite bitter about it all. Bunch of wankers tbh. Lets hope Sheff Utd get the decision overturned.
  19. Why is no one snapping him up? Surely Emre would have a word to SA.
  20. We probably want him to start the season as Duff is out injured till November, and Zoggy's future is up in the air. If were planning to keep both Duff & Zoggy then bringing in Zenden on a free for a season isn't such a bad idea.
  21. Dokko

    Downing

Half decent player, but not worth the money Boro would expect for him.
  22. End of the day football reaches many people, some are arseholes some are not, its the type of person more than anything else. Those who do organised fighting amongst fans are not true football fans, in fact one the way home i bet no one even thinks or talks about the score, they are there for the fighting and using football as the vehicle to do that.
  23. Can never quite see what people mean by "capital pull" (etc). In the years I lived there, I realised that it was - and most people agreed with me - a total sh*t place for anyone to live. Newcastle, to the contrary, is developing more and more into being "the" place to be. There are a lot more places for footballers to spend their money. Place's we've never heard of and haven't a chance of getting in, lots of shops for the WAG's and also lots of WAG's for the WAG's to wag about with. I'd rather live in Newcastle, but i'm from here and wouldn't have it any other way, the city is getting better, but whatever we have here, London has ten times the amount of. Ten times the amount of cunts too. Goes without saying.
