Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce is believed to be willing to let Parker move on as he looks to raise money for his own transfer plans. West Ham chief Alan Curbishley is keen to sign Parker as he is a big fan of the England international from their time together at Charlton. Parker, who is currently recovering from a hernia operation, endured a difficult season at Newcastle last term after coming in for some criticism from his own fans. Curbishley is in the market for a new midfielder with Nigel Reo-Coker expected to move on after handing in a transfer request. Newcastle are believed to be lining up a move for Manchester City star Joey Barton as a possible replacement for Parker should he leave St James' Park.

Them watching us, us watching them, say hello! http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=88056 http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=88010&start=180 Harveys_HammersLH

We've got one, bid has come in, and were being linked with the other two. Very like for like, but which of the three is the best? Tough choice, its yours to make.
-
I thought the stories yesterday (was it from his agent?) said WH were willing to listen to £8m for him. PS: One does hope that 64.7% of this bid will find its way to Sunny Manchester. We need shot of Barton please £8m for NRC!?!?! Fuk that, i hope they dont think its going to be a straight swap, they can fuk that one off.
-
Really? Link? Anyway, I think after he got ill and injured he has not really been the same for us. Granted, great first season but last season he was hardly ever captain material. If he wants out and has done for some time, its hardly suprised there was foook all team spirit last season. If thats the case, let him go. Would not be at all fussed tbh. Really wish people would stop barking fuking 'link' at me.
-
And theres me hoping more leave! Dyer, Owen & Emre would be a good start, get rid of the huge wasters on huger wages and reset the wage bill. Still no news of Carr & Babayaro leaving, cunts.
-
Still no link like. I wonder if NRC is involved in the deal how much WHU rate him at? What do other people rate him at? Can't be any higher than £4m since he's handed in his transfer request and isn't that special anyway.
-
I feel for them, but they had their chance to move to sky for free and didn't take their chance, so sympathy can only extend so far.
-
Eh? £8.5m + Reo Coker involved doesn't add up. link? No one said £8.5m + NRC, just that he could be involved in part of the deal. SSN's now.
-
Talk of Reo-coker involved as well. Hope not.

Daddy's, better than Heinze anyday.

Man city are not budging on the £5.5m fee, fuk that, too much of a risk unless we get £10m for Parker which aint going to happen.

Its why were expanding and building hotels on SJP site (if it still goes ahead)

If Ashley is watching, or has people watching which i'm certain of, he'd do very well to publicly distance Anal from the club, and even go as far as offering exclusives to the Chronic IF they axe Oliver. Now that would be a good start. The club also needs a more public, public relations officer, we don't get enough direct information or respect as fans from the club, something if Ashely rectifies he again would link up better than previous.

Quaresma's very good, in the Ronaldo mould but always been in the shadow of him for many years, very skillful although at times too much would say but he's now found a consistency at Porto and is currently their biggest asset, i'd expect him to be at a top club ala Barcelona in the near future. Spot on. Plus he's a little chunkier than Ronaldo, and doesnt get pushed off the ball easily. Anderson is another Porto player who will be world class in a few years. Ronaldo is much stronger than him though, Ronaldo is deceivingly strong since he goes on like a like fagboy most of the time. People forget how well built the s*** is, and its the main reason players find him a handful. Yeh that's something he's improved over the last few years. He's become much more robust but more importantly his fitness levels are the best in the league in terms of stamina, this is why he comes out with the goods especially with goals like the one at Fulham where he looked like the game had just started. tbh, he's had the size and strength since he came, but he is using it more to help his game, he's not afraid anymore, still a diving cunt, but ready to bully someone and when he goes at the pace he goes there is only one winner. Special player, fuking gutted to admit it like.
-
I must be a really poor footie fan as i thought Butt has been our best central mid by a country fuking mile. I know am not the only one thinking it.

Boumsong's debut needs a mention. £8.5m French International defender looking like a less than average by Yeading, a team two leagues below the conference (IIRC).
-
Get a difficult away game out of the way, even better if we come away with something.
-
10 million That's what i'd expect to pay for champions league quality not a injury prone championship defender, he's hardly set the world alight either. WBA believing all the hype tbh, not a chance, i think he'd be a good addition alongside Taylor but not at that price. Would rather of spent £7.5m on Woody, a bigger risk in terms of injury but it would of been better spent.
-
£10m? Hope not. No more than £6m at the most, another year in the Championship should lower his price. We could get two better CB's abroad for that price.
-
Like it. The club is growing up finally and accepting 3 coaches with no qualifications between them just isn't good enough.
-
PS: I'd rather we go for Kevin Prince Boateng, he has a much better name.
