It wouldn't surprise me if SA does have someone on the payroll to do a similar 'mental' job on the players. Think like winners, act like winners. And other such gobshite Fuk that, get the man himself. I'm sure we could pay him more than his stage routine or even Ch4, especially when it works. £1m to hypnotise the entire team to think they are pele.

How about Derren Brown? He'll just mind trick the world into thinking we won each game 4-0, easy as piss. Derren for manager! (SA should at least get him on the payroll)
-
Guess we didn't want to pay the £40kpw which he certainly isn't worth.

Liverpool Vs AC Milan (For those who didn't know) A repeat of the 2005 final where Liverpool came back in the greatest ever fashion from 3-0 down at HT to take it to pens where the won it for the 5th time, and became the most annoying fans in football sports history for the next 2 years singing the same song over and over again. Their hero of that special day, Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek was then taking from his euphoric state of enjoyment to feeling like cunt after being dropped quicker than Paris Hiltons knickers in front of a hand-held video camera and spent the next two seasons being tormented by his own fans as they sung 'that song' while he sat on the bench remembering how he won the match for them in the 1st place. The Liverpool team fly out in pure Souse fashion, publicly grieving over the missing girl in Portugal that lived somewhere pretty close to Liverpool (In England) and had loose connections (Girls mothers parents live in the North West), well at least it beats the chicken. The Liverpool team is about the same standard as the last one that played Milan, a few changes but nothing major and the dogged determined possession football or as known to the rest of the world 'boring as fuk crap' is what they'll play, and they play it well, even better than Chelsea who have mastered it for quite some time, but when two bores face off against each other, it only take one player to fall asleep standing up for the game to be won, better get the pro plus out Milan, be warned. The Milan team again are the same minus Shevchenko, rumours have it he was sold to Chelsea as he was too young to play in their team. At 30 years old he's barely out of nappies so he had to go, as many of the players couldn't talk pension schemes with him, all he wanted to do was buy fast cars and enjoy life. So its here, ITV the daddy of repeats have it for those who want to watch it, but who do you support, well i'll break it down for you: Milan + Kaka Not Liverpool Milan - Italian football team Italian cheating diving scum Fixed matches Liverpool + Please add your own Liverpool - The fans Craig Bellamy Shit football New 6 times song American owned (well they made such a fuss about Manusa) Wor lass is a Liverpool fan (Personal hate im afraid) So not many pluses for either team, but Milan have less negatives, especially on a personal level. Either way am watching, i hope its as good as the last one, and if Liverpool do it again in that style then so be it, but a warning to any Liverpool player who wants to make a hero of himself, do that and Rafa will either sell you or drop you for your efforts.

Would be great if the top four fuked off, the fans would soon get sick of playing euro football and only that week in week out, while they miss out on the EPL & FA cup nevermind CL football which would just mean teams like ourselves, Tottenham etc will grow in size and become the new top dogs. When they get bored of playing the same lot over and over again with no cups to entertain, they'll try and come back and the FA's of all the countries will just tell them to shove it. Correct if am wrong, but that's the only way i can see it working out.

Pazzini who plays for Fiorentina looks canny. Quick, strong, technically sound and young, you'd probably get him for less than £10m, which will be cheaper than Bent goes for. Mutu & Toni are preffered, but i think he's a one for the future.

Do you think Allardyce will have time to flog the 8 you mention and bring in replacements (not forgetting the other 5 who have already been released)? If not, what's your guess for how many in this window? My guess would be around 4. I think there will be some that SA will want to have a better look at to see if he can get more out of them. Luque loan - Almost cert Owen, Dyer & Parker all linked in the last few days, Duff we will have to keep due to injury, but Emre could easily be sold quickly abroad. The hardest to shift would be Carr & Babayaro, i suggest Scotland, possibly on a free, but SA might just want to keep them for back-up. However out of all that i have mentioned i expect 4 to be permanently gone. As for bringing them in, thats his job, and if he's not going for the glamour names then it will be easier than we think. Bolton never hung about to sign a player, deals were done pretty quickly, SA knows what kind of players he wants, and he goes and gets them funds permitting, and if we sell that little lot, fund could reach £50m easily. All he has to do is buy an 11 with Given, Taylor, Zoggy, Milner & Martins already in, so 6 players, with Harper, Krul, Ramage, Hunty, Edgar, Solano, Butt, Duff, Ameobi &Carroll playing backup, its not ideal but it gets the shit out, the wage bill down, money in the club, a clean slate, fresh ideas & room for improvement next season, mainly depth. Its what i hope he's got planned, easier said than done? I don't know, but i do know WHU are planning the same kind of change around and a bet my left testicle they manage it, so why can't we? It will be a bit like when Jol came in, only SA needs to work one window like Jol did his 1st 2-3, its not that much when you think about it considering we've got players to sell to fund whereas Tottenham maybe didn't have that quality (Or rep of players) that we have now.

Linked with a £11m move to Manu. Price going up at least.

Out of that 'team' Babayaro, Carr, Luque, Owen, Dyer, Emre, Duff & Parker need scrapping, in that order of who needs to go most. Babayaro & Carr just need to find new homes, i'd let them go for free as long as it costs us nothing in the process. Someone must be willing to pay £3m for Luque? I know PSV want a loan but that does nothing for us, we need rid. Owen & Dyer need to go for the amount of wages they pull in, getting rid of them two could fund and pay for 5 new defenders, or feed half of Africa for a year, not sure which is more important right now. Emre, Parker & Duff fall into the 'good EPL players on too much money and are under performing, but still hold a market value' and we should take advantage of that and sell all 3 if possible. Butt, Sibierski & Solano are the older bunch and are themselves expandable, i'd get shot of sibbi if Viduka comes in, i'd get rid of Butt if we get good cash (£1-2m) for him as he's on big wages as well, Nobby should stay and finish his career here. Pattison & O'Brien are not going to make it are they? Loan em or sell em, makes no difference. The rest are worth keeping, Harper, Krul, Hunty, Edgar, Ramage, Ameobi & Carroll, cost nowt, and are backup, Given, Taylor, Milner, Zoggy & Martins are what we should build a new team around. Can SA do a big job and do the clearout we all want? I think if he gets back off his hols quickly enough its possible to get rid of all that and start again.

Gorden fuking Ramsey wants to be cooking it with Girls Aloud naked serving it to you for that price.

10m at most I've heard, it doesn't matter how much they have to spend anyway when Steve Bruce is the manager. Straight back down imo. My opinion also. His buys never seem to have any real thought, just who he can get that looks a bargain, therefore missing out on players he really needs.
-
Big difference. Reading played good football beat every team in the league and finished with the highest total in the championship ever, 106 points. Derby are just a poor long ball team. Would this be the clue i need to get like?
-
Utter cretin of a manager to be replaced by proven quality. Penny pinching chairman replaced by Gajillionaire. "Slight Improvement" (Note that at this stage I refuse to entertain thoughts of any of the above not happening, its the off season, I'm allowed to be happy!) There is no comparison between Reading 06 and Derby 07. Reading won the league with a bajillion points, Derby are in the playoffs - and theyre picking John Macken. Up in the air with what can happen, but if a Raneri comes in and has no money to spend then its a slight improvement, my way of thinking anyway. New owner though changes it a bit.
-
Of course! I honestly think we'll have the biggest jump in places in the league next season. Well as long as you dont call for Allardyce's head when we dont tbh. He's got 3 years from me.
-
I watched them in the play offs and they were lucky against a shite Southampton team and totally crap against Palace at the back, apart from Barnes no real stars, to think they'll be doing anything other than making up the bottom of the table is stupid imo, no one can predict a Reading, it happens, but chances are it doesn't. The team coming up to make the most impact certainly will be Sunderland, a chairman ready to spent big and a decent manager it seems. Where do you think Derby will finish?
-
Of course! I honestly think we'll have the biggest jump in places in the league next season.
-
Could work out like that, and then again it might not, i feel not all is right at Arsenal ATM. But overall the league is at its strongest next season no matter what, cannot see another league which is as full of quality teams, players, fan and as much money as our own. 38 finals next season, hope were ready for it.
-
About all that will happen realistically, couple brought in, couple out, its what Spurs have been doing for a couple of years, do think your the team to beat for 5th as long as Berbatov stays.
-
With new money available to all standing still means going backwards this year in the EPL, and for me its going to be the toughest ever season for everyone. There are more teams closer to picking off Arsenal to 4th than Wenger would care to think about, and the battle for the UEFA cup spots will be as open as its ever been and i expect ourselves to be there at the very end. So who do you think will improve, be about the same or be weaker due to whatever reason. I've paired off the promoted/relegated teams to give a better balance of the league, i've put it in order of finish as well, although that was pretty much quickly done to form the below: Chelsea - Some changes to be made, more money spent, bigger squad to challenge on all fronts, although i cant see any major £30m transfers, i expect a few bodies in. (Stronger) Manu - SAF wont rest on his laurels since manu have Chelsea on the backfoot, expect two or three quality signings to bolster his squad. (Stronger) Liverpool - New owners out to make their mark, could win the CL without spending a penny of players, but expect a good £50m+ to be splashed out to move them closer to the title (Stronger) Arsenal - Club one year older, one year closer to transition, but with money tied up in the stadium, Dein leaving and reportedly Henry & Wenger to do the same, this is one top 4 club who could be weaker next season. (Weaker) Tottenham - Will keep on doing what they are doing, some will leave, some will go - (Same) Newcastle - New era we all hope, much improved from this season (Much Stronger) Everton - Can't see any big leaps, a slight improvement, but yoyo Everton in the league, standing still could mean going backwards (Same) West Ham - Escaped, expect a lot to leave, but a lot to come in, a club with Euro ambitions next season (Stronger) Aston Villa - The owner yet to stamp his mark, doing it slowly it seems but improvements are a dead cert (Stronger) Bolton - Their manager has left, and with talk of money being an issue, i cannot see Bolton maintaining what they did under previous (Weaker) Portsmouth - Good season built on a great start, Harry begging for funds, if he gets them he could turn a fluke into a norm (Same) Man City - Up in the air ATM with takeover talk, but with so much going on hard to make an assumption (Slight Improvement) Blackburn - Inconsistent and can't see the funds to make that stop (Same) Reading - Being picked off already, their main man gone, will find it hard to replace (Weaker) Boro - No direction apart from signing Woody, i can see Viduka leaving and them already blowing their main funds on Woody who is one injury away from a long layoff (Same) Sunderland - New arrival, will sign some good players and stay, mark em up against Sheff Utd to form the opinion that they are stronger (Stronger) Wigan - Lucky, too many average players and now a good manager has departed i expect them to depart from the league as well (Weaker) Fulham - A non entity, cant see the funds coming in for the new manager to spend, a struggle of a season again imo (Same) Birmingham - New arrival, will look for bargains but with Bruce has no real plan, against Charlton i see them being the same (Same) WBA/Derby - Whichever both have about the same level of team, the same probably as Watford, and i see them finishing bottom as well (Same)

It would be great to bring in Ben Haim, Campbell, Sidwell & Viduka for next to nowt, and at the same time sell Duff, Parker, Emre, Dyer & Owen for some good money. Even with Owen valued at £9m is the rumours are true, that's a good £35m+ back into the club and probably our wage bill cut in half!

Hold on - you saying the reason people were on Brambles back was because he was Black and/or a southerner? Nowt to do with the 5 error strewn years he spent here, and failure to improve? As for the southern thing, yeah - we do struggle to get behind/back non-geordie players, don't we?? - tell that to the likes of Rob Lee or Les Ferdinand! No, i'm saying he gets away with the same amount of shite that Bramble has but is left alone because he is the local lad made good. But what has colour got to do with that? Black people can and are born in and around Newcastle, and it wouldn't make a difference to 99.999999999999999999% of Newcastle fans what colour their skin was, but i agree about the local thing, gets away with a lot, but also he is very young, just turned 21, and for a defender he's still in nappies.
