We don't have to, it's not like an injury, but could see the club still paying or part paying. I'd be asking for a an optional year ext to his contract as well. As for Milan...I can see a lengthy courtcase heading their way over this. This knew like, and why he was sold.

Can't drink, can't take drugs, can't party, can't eat what you want, and can't gamble. Very little you can do with the mega millions you earn at the time of life you want to. For us plebs it would be a nice problem to have I'm sure, but what footballers do outside of football needs more looking into and supported by clubs because if clubs and governing bodies are going to treat them like assets and expect robotic behaviour, then they need to support the humanity side of them, or even you could say remove their personality so it fits nicely into the footballing machine.

was also being mentioned by Italian reporters in the live thread yesterday. Does anyone know if the lad banned is domestic or global? Sure global only involves cheating the game, if so, then the ban has no meaning unless he moves back to Italy.
-
No bets on football so can't he banned over here. Up to the Italian fa if they want to force it at international level, but guess they'll skip that.

Big fucking casino for Tonali and half the Italy team please.
-
We still gonna cancel his contract?
-
Might be why he's not been at his best on the pitch as well. Seems 3 years is max, and be aude they've admitted it will be 'heavily discounted' Sounds like Tonali didn't bet on football.
-
I've read that the betting was happening during International team duties (hence the IFA involvement) however the betting was card and online games, not betting on football and certainly not on any game he was involved with. This is still illegal in Italy (apparently) and why the 3 years has been touted (again read this only applied to International football) If that is true, then its not going to be a big deal over here. Might end his International career, and possibly can't return home.

Milan: Oh btw, he's been betting on his own team, hence us accepting a lower offer....you still want him? Ashworth & Howe: Where do we sign?

Can't stop looking

Don't think we're in a position to write off £50m, so can't see us terminating his contact, unless we intend to sue him like Chelsea & Mutu. Hopefully it gets sorted sooner rather than later, ban potentially months rather than anything longer, and get him ready for next season.

Perfect. Been a canny start to his Newcastle career.
-
2 shots on target? Shite.
-
Deserved though. Brentford have done fuck all 2nd half and asked for it.
-
She bounced back?
-
Think thats bashams career over. Be lucky to walk properly again.

Absolute weekend ruiner. Bless.

Think the Dell thing fuels a lot of their bitterness with our takeover.
-
Since when? Can't find anything on that.

They should push plans as much as thru can then either be knocked back or the council allow for a major expansion. If knocked back the club can say to the fans it doesn't have a choice but to move, then build an ott 90k stadium for a £bn (which won't count as part of ffp) and sell the naming rights for £100m a year. It's one massive way to navigate around ffp, and the fans won't be precious about the renaming of SJP.

Don't think they were lightyears behind luton, could have easily come up if a red card went their way in the playoffs, but yes, the other 2 were miles ahead of them. Think they'd be looking at breaking a record low of points if they came up and didn't spend £100m on the squad. Saying that, they've got about 4 or 5 players who could potentially make it in the PL, it's just whether they can keep them all together by adding the same quality every year and having a genuine pop at a promotion push. Last season was lucky, but this season they look good for it, especially since its a mixed bag of starts for the relegated teams. If Leeds & Southampton get their shit together then it'll be the same 3 that went down, going straight back up. It's probably then where the real test begins on trying to keep those players for another shot at promotion, and going off what we've seen in the PL so far, it'll be 3 weak teams going straight back down giving 24/25 season the best chance to go up for any team who get it together.

Might be just me, but think he was joking....though it is stiffles so can see why you bit ?
