Deserve to lose this half. Colback should be sacked. Sissoko should be made to train with the under 10s for the rest of his contract.

I'm not against Gouffran up front if it is like one of those 5 a season 4th choice striker roles, which is the role we initially envisaged for the first year he was with us. -

Mitrovic up front. Mbabu and Aarons to be involved. -
Don't worry, savvywoman says he is not going anywhere

Perhaps longer term Shelvey will be pushed forward but I think that is quite difficult to pull of this season where we have too many attacking midfielders and no one that can play well in central midfield other than Shelvey. Having said that though, if he were to make a good box to box central midfielder out of Wij or Moussa that would be amazing.

Dear me. FFS Well I thought correctly didn't I?
-
I thought we would keep Cathro given the Valencia connections.

You can still get 1.2 odds on Benitez btw
-
Imagine if he picks Obertan, Gouffran, Anita and Rivière first game !

Aye, right. Yes we get it you actually like the manager for a change. But it won't change the fact that the players will not be motivated to play for this club as a result of how the hierarchy has treated them. Not even Guardiola could turn things around. I wish Benitez all the best, he is a very good manager, but this club is rotten beyond repair.
-
We will still go down as I do not believe that Benitez will get the players giving their best. In my view, it wasn't the manager who lost the dressing room, it was the club that lost the dressing room and the hierarchy remains. In the last 2 years we have seen: Unimpressive treatment leading up to the departures of some players (Ben Arfa, Santon, Taylor, Jonas), A popular player now suing the club for how he was treated when suffering from cancer, Being abandoned with John Carver as manager for several months Chronic lack of ambition Even in the process of getting rid of Schteve we have shamed this club. Benitez will never regain the dressing room, because it is the club that is lost.
-
Will probably get Carver to phone Ryan Taylor to phone Jonas to phone McClaren to tell him he has been sacked.

I think that the criticism of the open letter is unfair as it makes a number of valid points that many have been saying on here for ages, and the media have all run with the letter so it is getting these points out into the mainstream.

My last company often used York as a halfway meeting point between Manchester and Newcastle. Now who lives in the Manchester area - Moyes.

Fits with the train station sightings.

Don't worry he wouldn't be stupid enough to come back so long as he can find a good job

On a roll tonight, I followed this up with Panathanaikos and now New York City are winning 3-1. I am going to attempt getting 20 short odds (1.2 to 1.5) in a row cashing out a few small amounts. If I pull it off it is worth 2000 assuming an average of about 1.3 per bet. I fully expect to fail but I have already been able to pull out my winnings so no harm done.

Today I had Celtic, Juve, Barca and Feyenoord at 4/1. Going well so far

Supposedly the players we choose anyway are chosen by this Scouting database we subscribe to. Graham Carr just makes final checks on personality and mentality by chatting to local taxi drivers.
-
I would bring in Benitez, but I would also look ahead to a possible relegation and bring in Paul Clement as a coach as I think he would be a good choice to support Rafa and would be an excellent choice to take over if and when we go down, so we aren't in a position where we spend the whole summer not knowing who our manager will be, as has happened before.

If we do anything it will be something ridiculous like bringing a manager in to work alongside McClaren. Someone recommended by McClaren like Hoddle.
