  1. Wormy sold? Boycoutt! Fat Andy out!
  2. History is being reinvented. During that great spell towards the back end we were alternating formations throughout the match 442 443 4231 because we had that flexibility. We beat Swansea and Chelsea playing a more rigid 442 though. And Wigan whipped us when we started out playing 4231.
  3. BBC say this is the green light for him going to AC Milan on loan.
  4. Messed his longevity up because when Given had a spell out under Roeder he did his leg in but played anyway despite the damage it caused.

The way you bang on about Clyne after what happened to Davies makes me worry about the lad's prospects.

Left for the right reasons and has made a good choice of club good luck to him. Although his fitness is a known issue it had improved last season as Pardew got those muscles off him and made him lighter and leaner. My advice to Reading would be don't bulk him up and you have a very handy player.
  8. Ferdinand has refused to say what happened publically but has given statements to the police and the FA. All he has said is that he "feels very strongly about the matter"
  9. People need to understand why ba has a clause. For insurance reasons noone can buy him for much more than his clause states. His release fee is the equivalent of Jelavic having a 20 million pound release clause.
  10. Murphy is a very underrated player but old. Didn't really understand why he got less England caps at the expense of others. I am surprised he left Fulham, he could be good backup at many PL clubs. If he wants the Championship and first team football, Blackburn seems an odd choice.
  11. Ashley Cole would get his 100th cap at the final. It is written.
  12. I've been apathetic to England since the world cup, but the last three games with Roy, Hart, Lescott, Milner, Wellbeck, Young, Walcott and the Ox are a fresh batch of players in terms of featuring at international tournaments., Gerrard and Johnson are on form, and I only dislike Terry (although Cole is having a shitter). So i feel more enthusiastic.

To be fair to Martin Jol, Redknapp did go to the press about his contract a couple of days after Levys mum died.
  14. And Freddy Shepherd's business partner who happened to be Paul Stretford, Rooney's agent needed a favour. Now they part own Rangers assets.
  15. 2013 looks good. Really the only concerns are that the top teams are generally bunched together, but last season showed that if we nick a couple of points and come out of those batches in a reasonable position we can really push on.

Isn't he supposed to be on a curfew?
  17. Not that surprising the more it is thought about.Pulis loves his past it injury prone ex England internationals, Stoke throw money about. Owen can expect to start alongside Crouch. Meanwhile Stoke continue with the brand of football that suited a newly promoted side, but doesn't suit the money spent or players signed. Every season they get worse. This could be the final nail in the relegation coffin.
  18. To sign for Stoke. turned down Everton - Press Association
  19. The increase isn't really significant when you consider the international tv deal.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

That was the basis of a whole article in the times to be fair.
  21. Probably has one of the least secure places in the team, but that isn't a bad thing when you consider who the more secure players are.
  22. Fell through when Kinnear called him Um Bongo and told him that they drink him in the Congo.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

He is a talented player but not even the best player at the club, probably 5th best as others have been consistently talented. He can be the greatest but still needs to be. In that case I think he is looking more of a player for Arsenal, Atletico, rich Russian clubs, the top German teams. Ben Arfa is motivated by different stuff to money and trophies. It is still important, but he chose us as the better all round package and I don't think he is ready to leave for those sort of clubs.
