Wouldn't give Essien MOM, like. Number of times Rooney had him on toast, like. Vidic probably MOM, but I though Rooney worked as hard as anyone out there today.
I think Dyer would jump if given the chance, I hope Bramble goes to Portsmouth and tells HR Dyer is available because i think HR would put a bid in for him
Don't think Dyer'd go to Pompey, tbh. Maybe Spurs, West Ham, something.
There is no chance he will be at LP when next season starts, and you can be sure he knows it. BSA just might be able to put him in line as well. If he got him in line and playing for real, we would have a hell of a striker. But thats a big "if".
BSA?! Better than BS, I suppose.
Assuming he hasn't been misquoted, the lad needs his head read. FFS, after everything that's gone on the past fornight it's unbelievable anyone could be this stupid.
While we did need to get rid of Bramble, I think the point .com were making was that by letting him go on a free we've written off the 4.5m quid we paid for him.
Is it just me who'd actually quite like to see Maldini in a Toon shirt for a season? He'd still be better than anything else we've got.
Edit: but no to De Zeeuw, thanks all the same.
I still rate NUFC.com, although I disagree with them more nowadays than I did. How can people argue that they do not have a point when they question the practice of letting a player who cost us £4.5m go for nowt? And surely it's fucking obvious that it wasn't directed at Big Sam at all, but at our obese chairman.
Saw Jenas in The Gate once with his lass. He got to the counter with a couple of bags of popcorn or whatever, but looked like he didn't have his wallet with him or something. His lass had to pay and they got into a right barney.
Sam could have come in yesterday and told Freddy to give Bramble new contract so hardly down to roeder
Bollocks, more like. I'm sure Fred mentioned during these chats last week that these 5 players aren't getting their contracts renewed and Sam went: alreet, nee bothers. What's Sam going to do? Start kicking up a fuss about players he's never even talked to or worked with?
The sad thing for Newcastle was that SA never accepted the job when it was offered to him before. The years of Souness and Roeder have put the club back years.
Quite true. However, we dug our own graves by sacking both SBR and Souness while the season was well underway which complicated things.
