The inch of a forehead of JW did not give him any advantage to receive that ball and score there. How that is fixed in football is above my head.

Those lads all owe Eddie and the staff their bloody lives too. It’s unnacceptable to not do that bare minimum.
-
he’s a wonderful guy and super talented but I’d happily send him to Bayern with a full set of best wishes to get a pacy young striker to lead our line next season.
-
I’d ship him to turkey or Saudi and Nick back to Germany. Some respectable fee. We need to give Eddie a different line next season.
-
Just shows how much losing has bothered him like. The captains pushing him to the fans says it all. We as a fan base MUST stay united. Always better when we’re one roaring force and our gaffer deserves patience always.

Exactly where my head is. Agree here too, I believe with time and better squad he could handle europe and multiple domestic competitions.

Barnes LW, Nick CF, Osula RW with Nick dropping deeper and our wingers narrow and flying up the pitch.

looks like there are 3 million people in that end

Eddie guided our club to that trophy and never once taked about himself, it was never "me" it was the team, the coaches, the support staff, the medical team, the FANS. That is our manager, who has gotten more right than wrong in 4 years working 12+ hour days, 7 days a week to bring out the best in our squad and the club. When the hierarchy failed him, he didn't walk away and he dug in and tried to do it himself. Mistakes happen, but he does it with dignity and respect. He's never dug out the fans despite boos and unrest in various places. I'd take a mid table finish and whatever this season ended out with with that prime example of a man leading our club.

By all accounts we were trying to tie him to a bumper deal and were happy to see him go this upcoming summer to wherever he wanted to go, it would have allowed us to pick up the pieces after the early summer of rejections (JP, Delap..then Ekitke) and we probably would have just signed Wissa to replace Wilson and gone on with the league - and likely be sat top 5, looking up at the season. Instead, we know what Isak did and how that spiraled us. I am a firm believer in continuity, patience and trust. I think our owners, our CEO and our DOF need to support him 100% but they need to refresh the squad and trust the scouting that got us so many brilliant players of the years and Eddie needs to go back to trusting that or he'l work himself into hospital again. We will all be happier and better for it. I have stated before I am more than happy to finish mid table this season as we prioritize cup runs. I want to see us really clean up the squad and get ruthless this summer and I want Eddie leading a new refreshed team out next season. We need to all back the man, the grifters and naysayers who need likes, views, and clicks can fuck off out of here. We do not need that kind of supporter. Go back and think about the nerves and joy you had prior to the cup final and after it. That was our fans at its finest, and its united in defeat and in victory. I do not know where that feeling fucked off to after we won a cup, but I sure as hell hope people reflect and bring that back out.

We need to hit reset on the entire thing, pains me to say/think. I feel sick.
-
He’s not going to be sat up there smiling away after the highs and lows of the last several weeks like.
-
More good than bad with Eddie. Love the bloke forever. I worry the summer transfers may come back to haunt us and him. And I hate admitting that.
-
Wissa is fucking horrible and it hurts to say that about own player man. wtf is he doing.
-
every left foot shot has looked like that for us. It’s wild.

I can't stand the football narrative of "player doesnt like direction of club" when that said player, ie : tonali in this case is so integral to how we play and whether we move up or down the league. Putting in bad performances in your key position = why we didn't pick up the result. If Tonali wasn't asleep at Leverkussen we would have been in the final 8. If Tonali wasn't slow to track Ekitke we would have likely gone to halftime 1-0 at Liverpool. I'm not blaming him, but these flash points matter and the individual errors can cost us.
-
Have no issue with anything he has said.

That seems like a huge fee for Paris FC

There’s no defender in football able to keep up with Ekiteke on that kind of run.

Sack the manager and start over. Which may not be bad idea. But where does PSR go here? Dropout has always been spot on about this. We take no gambles bc clearly the goal for Howe is to finish where we have under him. Sadly Eddie been let down by his bosses time and again. And he’s let himself down with this shambles of a summer spending the Isak money on Wissa and Wolte. Love and rate both but they aren’t it. so then who improves us and reps us better then our big man?
-
I’d say we need a complete overhaul and it’s not really our own fault. I’d firmly place that on the owners. However in context of what we all dealt with and post takeover. I’m good. Just happy we aren’t whar we were. Still mad about what we aren’t yet tho.
-
Just hate that Liverpool do to us what we normally do to big sides at home. They step up and get results.
-
Wingers are also mostly shite too.

Our midfield and defense are so bad at times it’s not even funny. Our squad is just not very great. Doesn’t help when we gift goals all over the shop.
